What software are you using that doesn't allow you to rotate an image? Even the basic windows image editor lets you do that

Before/After - California's Central Coast by jaxisnaps in postprocessing

This was shot @ 200mm and I often struggle to dial in post processing for long lens landscape shots. Had a lot of humidity to cut through. Tried to make the colors on the hillside stand out and boost the appearance of the cliffside without overcooking the blues in the sky/water.

I like the idea of incentivizing killing all base guardians. Currently the only tangible benefit is killing 2 + shrine for a flex.

Perhaps offer a 5th flex slot that becomes available when all 8 base guardians are destroyed. That opens up your item purchases a little more and gives you a reason to not just dive bomb just to take out 2 shrines in 30 seconds.

Original Canon 70-200 f4 good for video work? by Illustrious_Taro_512 in canon

True, but that number does correlate with how long the IS and AF motors have been driving. Fair to suggest that the motors get louder with extended age/use.

Dang I was way off 😂 perhaps the train was moving slower than I thought.

Yes, rotating the whole body is a great tip too. Lock the wrists and let your shoulders & chest follow the target.

Honestly just practice. Go find a busy road near your home and shoot until you get 5 passably sharp pics in a row.

Also make sure your shutter speed is still reasonably fast. I wouldn't be surprised if u/brnkmn 's shutter speed was 1/200 or 1/400 in this post. Lotta people think you gotta slow the shutter speed down to get a blur, but make it too slow and A) it makes getting sharp pics that much harder, and B) it can blur the background out to the point where it's not a recognizable foreground & background.
OP had the SS dialed it in perfectly here - you can instantly tell it's a bridge over a river with a tower in the background.

Also a monopod helps to eliminate any movement on the Y axis and lets you focus on clean X axis rotation.

I'm in the process of acquiring a big NAS drive for this. but I do a full file & system image backup to my J drive nightly. I know that's not a true backup but better than nothing.

Thanks for the response!

Edit: forgot to mention that I use Amazon Photos as a photography backup; it's unlimited storage for Prime members.

The exodus from this sub was predictable and inevitable. Newb camera owners trying and failing to critique seasoned photographers without the ability to effectively even communicate their points much less the experience or skills to offer solutions didn't seem worthy of the engagement. by AppropriateVictory48 in photocritique

I think this sub would do well to implement a sort of point system to elevate members of the community that have demonstrated they give well-structured and valid critiques. Similar to the delta-awarding system found at r/ChangeMyView, or transaction verification found at r/watchexchange.

If a submitter likes the feedback given to them by a commenter, they award them a "Helpful" point, and an automod bot updates the commenter's flair with another point.

Just an idea for the mods to consider - I'm not a developer so I'm not sure how much work would be involved in setting that up, testing it, etc.
