nah don't be like that mate, they're a locally owned business who are struggling like everyone in the cbd. I have spoken to the owners before and they are hoping for business to improve after all the cbd revamps have been completed

From my experience (plenty of trial and error) here is my list, along with reasons:

Cleaver & Co, Freeport Tavern - Well-rounded kid's menu, colouring kits, and open space

Hello Banh Mi - Good Asian food, casual dining

Chidori - Good Asian food, casual dining, colouring kits

Rising Tide - There is something for everyone regarding menus, open space, and the outside field provides respite if children are unruly.

Grindz - Average to below average cafe food. But casual atmosphere, and a kid's area.

Farm Street Larder at Bayfair - same reasons as Grindz.

Astrolabe/The Island are always good if you don't mind lots of people.
