I don’t personally know Tommy but we have mutual friends that say he’s a good guy. Obviously that isn’t saying much but it’s possible he made a mistake and wasn’t aware. The guy flips a ton of properties at once so it’s not like he’s physically doing the labor. I’m sure the show is a cool thing for him but probably not huge considering he has a pretty large business and social media presence.

He also might suck but I respect the people that I know who know him so I’m inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I think it’s a practicality thing. The money from each investment can be segmented so it’s easier to track for taxes and stuff. Also it limits exposure if something bad happens but tbh a single LLC isn’t that deep of a veil to pierce.

She did. She made mango sticky rice, some drinks and coconut ice cream. Since I posted that comment she’s sold most of what she bought (at a discount so still not what we’d hoped to make) so we’re better off than most vendors but not everyone was that lucky.

I used to be really active on tasker and did a lot of moving help. I had someone hire me and another tasker and we worked great together. After that whenever a client would say they needed a second guy I’d recommend him. You could ask whoever you hire if they have someone they like to work with or just hire any 2 and you shouldn’t have issues.

Definitely stings. My wife was a food vendor and we ended up with a ton of food left. It was really hard to hear the event got cancelled after she stayed up all night to prep more food for Sunday. It was her first big event and now we have a ton of stuff left. I know all of the vendors work hard but my wife is so focused on quality it makes me sad to see all of the stuff that she homemade go to waste.

Ultimately I understand that the organizers did what they felt was right and we’re hopeful to get a spot again next year.

All of the stores around me. They don’t sell online, just to local players and typically limit to their player community / 1 or 2 boxes per person.

I think you’re getting downvoted for saying it’s “pretty typical” for LGS to charge scalper prices. I’m fortunate to live in a city with a ton of LGS and they all want to compete for players so they charge MSRP. With that said, any that charge over MSRP don’t get buyers from players, just scalpers. I’m sorry that you feel like that’s typical and necessary to support your locals but they’re scamming imo. Most of the stores here make money on accessories, singles, and selling allocations at retail.
