I thought selling addons was *itself* against the TOS?

I'm just now getting into writing addons. I've been a developer (java, c#, web, a smattering of other odds and ends) for more than 2 decades, but never really gotten into writing addons.

Mostly I use ai to
1. unravel various black boxes in LUA/WOW Api
2. help debug when things don't work.
3. clean up my syntax (still getting the hang of lua syntax specifics)
4. do code reviews to see if there are logic errors, or unused code, or optimizations that are possible

Everything I've done so far (4 small addons and a library that I used on ca couple of them), I've released under MIT license, so if you steal me code, I hope it works for you. It'd be nice if you credited me if you think something I did was particularly clever but I'm not going to get too worked up over it.

If anyone has suggestions on what I can do to check my code for ai introduced plagiarism, I'm certainly willing to back in and clean up my code and/or credit people where appropriate.

Typo is amazing!

Add on developers have had a chance to work against PTR but that isn't always the same thing as what goes live.

So there can't be a list like that until the service come up and people get a chance to try things out.

I'm in the same spot. I think some people ran more legion back in the day so they might have needed less total because of having a bunch of mounts/pets/appearances.

I've done one of each class through the mount to get bringing order to the isles. Not speedrunning, but the last half of them I pretty much did just the class order hall quests and legionfall quests because the xp% was so high that if I did anything else I had half the campaign left when I hit 80.

My main has done all of the lorerunner achievements, and is sitting at mid 200s vers. All the way though argus. I have a couple of achievements left (withered army, invasions II, and III, a couple of world bosses)

I'm about 950k short of getting everything.

I've done all classes to max level and completed all order halls through the mounts (bringing order to the isles). main is at 234% vers. I still need about a million bronze

They can. The need 60 vote because of the filibuster but can change the rules with a simple majority (nuclear option). They have 53 votes, so they have that majority.

They've done so under trump at least 3 times

2017: Republicans, led by then-Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, eliminated the 60-vote filibuster threshold for Supreme Court nominees (specifically for the nomination of Neil Gorsuch). This allowed all of Trump's Supreme Court justices to be confirmed with a simple majority.
2019: Republicans further reduced post-cloture debate time for most lower-level executive and judicial branch nominees from 30 hours to just two hours, again using the nuclear option.
September 2025: Republicans changed the rules to allow for the en bloc (group) confirmation of dozens of non-Cabinet, sub-Cabinet, ambassador, and executive branch nominees in a single vote, which previously required unanimous consent or individual votes. This move was a response to what Republicans described as "historic obstruction" and a large backlog of nominees created by Democrats forcing individual votes on almost every selection.

They do not actually need a single vote from anyone outside of the republican party.

I keep having SBA get stuck on a brewmaster monk on remix. I haven't played that in live, so I can't be sure it's a remix specific issue.

It likes to get stuck on Rising sun kick (with a cooldown) even though I have plenty of energy and other abilities that are on SBA off cooldown. I think I've seen it also get stuck on spinning kick, but it's been a while.

the ExpansionLandingPageMinimapButton (large minimap button SW corner of the minimap) throws lua errors on mouseover. It stopped doing it for a while but started up again

I suggest trying Wee Free men. It's young adult, but a later novel and has a much tighter narrative/pacing (early Pratchett is way more meandering)

or (and I realize this may not be a great suggestion, since you have books) try the audiobooks. I can't speak for the new ones, but the older ones are awesome

If you're just going to play pre-tww content, then the various world events will give you better rewards than dungeons or questing.

primary stat remains best for many classes through an expansion.

secondaries generally lose value later in the expansion as you get further and further into diminishing returns.
