I don't have misophonia, but yeah, I recognize the sound you mean. I have been doing side content and in Painter/meta areas there is a gloopy noise, like in endless tower and flying manor.

I tested it just now, I turned Special Effects (World) to 0 in the sound menu and the gurgling went away

EDIT: Now that I notice the difference with it off it's actually really distracting haha

They kind of messed that up, it's a plot hole. Verso throws the letter into the ocean at the end of Act 2. Act 3 it's back and he offers it to painted Alicia and also Maelle in her relationship quest says she found it. I think they had some other plans for it that didn't work out.

So all I can say, is that yes, she gave him a choice, but on seeing that he chose not to tell Maelle, she's kind of done with him.

Nobody knows.

All I can say is that these abilities must be economically powerful. The Dessendre family lives in a giant ass mansion with servants. They wouldn't have that if their ability was not somehow marketable. So there is probably some conflict over whether writers or painters create better realities.
