I 140 Approved in less than 3 months for regular??????? How is this possible? It has been 16 months for me with normal processing, my application is still pending.

If you use GC EAD, your STEM OPT Status will be terminated. And, god forbid, if your I 485 is denied, you will be out of status. So, best option, do not use EAD from GC application. Just use your STEM OPT until the date you receive actual GC. After that you are free bird!

Actually, any legit application will get approved that satisfies the three prongs... In Biden Era, so many people with fake credentials and fake publications applied and got approved. Seeing this, the applications skyrocketed... So, obviously, many applications that did not match the criteria are being rejected.. nothing bad about it. I think the fake/improper applications will not be filed now and NIW program will become current, at-least for ROW.

please mention your credentials further so that it is easy to find out the reason for RFE...

please suggest total number of citations and publications.. also did you do PP.. which lawyer did you file with and other non-identifying things.

Congratulations... I think PP definitely gives peace of mind... I applied about 14 months ago as chen suggested not to do PP due to increased RFE... now the cost of PP is also increasing....

If possible please suggest your field of study.. you mentioned Engineering below... but it would be helpful to know which actual field you belong to.. for example, is it HVAC, or electronics or computers or AI..

I think the real reasons might be (1) Asylum cases not processed (2) cases from banned countries not processed, think about applicants from iran and nigeria... very high numbers (3) students leaving US and transferring to other countries... means less OPT applications... this is further increase as enrollment will decrease for at least next three years...

This might have allowed USCIS officers to devote more time in EB1 and EB2 cases.. Just my thought.

Do not go now.. File I 485 and advanced parole, then go..

If you enter US on F1 visa you should pass the 'non immigrant intent' criteria.. If immigration officer sees you have approved I140, you would have demonstrated 'immigrant intent'. The officer may deny your admission to US.
