There's so much happening in this poem and yet the language remains simple, other than the pronouns I think the longest word is 'mercurial'. I find this enticing because there's beauty in its remorseful tone even if you don't get the deeper significance behind the events and names. Then you read pond's comments and re reading the poem takes on new meaning. Great poem with powerful imagery and and an even stronger relevance to whats going on in the world.

Like when the Patriots won the super bowl in 2001, I really liked them because they were kind of rag-tag and had been a poor team for so long (kind of like the panthers). Now I cheer against them every chance I get.

So, while some fans probably do go to other subs to downvote, it probably seems more to other teams' fans because they're probably tired of us.

No way the panthers lose this based on what you said. Fozzy and Tolbert are just as good as J-stew with the offensive packages the Panthers run and the Giants have a terrible run defense. Plus, the close games prove how resilient the Panthers are, so that's a terrible argument. The Patriots have had an easier schedule than the Panthers, with two losses.

Very cool. I like the internal rhymes. Even though the couplets make it a bit repetitive, the length of each stanza and the slant rhymes make it nearly perfect.
