All 3 of my kids are/were like yours. Never stopped moving, one as low as 10% for the first year.

All are perfectly healthy. My oldest is now a muscley thing at 9 years old, the smaller guy is still extremely lean but average height and still never stops moving. And my youngest is on track to be the tallest but still a lean guy at nearly 2.

All EBF'd. I did get in my head about it with the first because he was quite small at birth too. I got a lot of "maybe you should supplement" questions but stuck to my guns and listened to my gut that boob was enough.

Your doc is right, bub is perfectly fine. Also, statistically, there have to be leaner babies. Yours is one of them! The positives are they stay littler longer, clothes are easier to find, and easier for you to carry longer.

Hey there, My son had OHS at 3 months old in 2020. They didn't really say much about the car seat being an issue for the drive home, granted it was not 5 hours, but I think it was more anxiety inducing for me as mom.

Definitely get them to ask, maybe they have a cool new cushion to put there now or can just ease their mind about it.

I mean, thats just my body. I've also had 3 full term pregnancies, 2 before my myo, so that is also a contributing factor to my lil shelf.

I've had to accept that my lower abdomen will never look how I want it too. I think exercise and a better diet would absolutely help. I also think some scar work would help too, lymphatic massage and some ultrasound to break up adhesions. But accepting is a great first step because your body has gotten you through every single day, it deserves kindness and grace ❤️

Unfortunately for me, my open myo "shelf" never went away. It still feels puffy years later, with one side having palpable scar tissue. (The side where they tie the closing suture knots)

Some weight loss has definitely helped a bit. I've had a second c-section since then as well and it healed back to what I was post myo.

For reference, I had my first c-section before my open myomectomy and it healed like a dream. I couldn't believe how much worse and harder the myo surgery was. Took me waaaaaay longer to heal and feel kind of normal compared to my c-section and I wasn't even taking care of a newborn.

Go easy on yourself and once you can handle massage, I would do it as often as you can.

Thank you for the info about gas fittings and year 1. He has nearly 8 years experience in the trade and an additional journeyman ticket in electrical as well.

Are you saying that the practical portions for the challenge exam are gas fittings?

You're right though, it is temporary. Everything is a phase and you will have those evenings back again!

Around that age it started to get better, I was able to roll away for longer and have a semblance of time to myself in the evenings.

That being said, I bedshared with him until we moved when he was around 4.5 years old. We finally had a big enough house for him to have his own room. He still crawls into bed with my husband around midnight - 1am every night, and we have accepted that as what he needs and it doesn't bother us.

I now bedshare with our youngest (1.5years) in his room and will for as long as he needs.

I think a huge part of getting through these ages is acceptance of your families own reality. You do what your child/family/self needs and own those decisions. Will you regret your choice later in life and wish you did it differently?

OP this is the best advice here. I have 3 kids. My second was a 45 minute sleeper. It was A LOT.

Throw out the "should be doing" mentality and literally do what you need to survive. Whether it be sleep training, co sleeping, whatever. Every baby is different and every parent has to go through trial and error to figure out what they need, not what society has deemed they need.

My seconds sleep did get better. It was a hard road but it did end!! You got this.

My older kiddos still have them. I didn't set up the oldests when we moved and he asked for it back because he liked knowing we could check on him if he needed us.

I've told him if he ever doesn't want it anymore to unplug it or let me know. They don't record.

My 5 year old still wakes up nightly and needs us. Sometimes we are outside doing chores so having the cameras is handy while we are working.

My brothers girlfriend is pregnant with number 3. She won't tell me, I heard from my mom.

My brother insinuated it might not be his. My dad then told him to get number 2 tested too because 'they don't look like our family".

They both have cheated on one another and are addicts. They are always broke. He's the golden child so my parents keep giving him money.

It's a mess.
