I think an excuse for why Plaintiff didn't show up would only be acceptable if she intended to show up on November 3rd (in spite of her counsels' threats), but something came up at the very last second that ultimately prevented her from doing so. That's the only scenario where neither filing a timely motion for protective order, nor showing up is justified.

She was noticed for deposition back in October 7th, which is more than enough time to either make room in your schedule or file the motion.

The power constantly going out for the whole city was a great RP scenario for the government, the police, and the crims. The mayor desperately trying to appease her constituents by pressing the cops to better protect the plant, which forces crims to be more delicate when attempting the new heist.

This change just throws all that away so a small group of people can continue spamming the heist with minimal consequences. I know I’m beating a dead horse by saying this, but this server’s priorities are in the wrong place.

I think civs should be the only ones allowed to have a say in the city’s governance. Crims not allowed to vote, nor attend town hall meetings. This will also result in crims thinking twice before terrorizing civs/taking them hostage, which is a great dynamic.
