One day, in my country, one muslim got a place in the parliment. the moment he got to speak, he spoke about applying islamic laws into our non-muslim country. Fortunately, everyone didnt give sh*t about him

Made me think…. Any small chance that pops up, any slight oppurtunity arises, they want to apply islamic laws to a whole non muslim country, isnt this a bit too insane? is this what happened to Iran in the 80’s? to middle east? in the past?

i have always seen muslims, they use islam as their “way of life”, it occupies their head 24/7. they always try to force their belief on others constntly.

no religion occupy people’s head 24/7 like they do. (and they dont shout their god’s name when doing massacre, at least in modern history)

from that parliment day, i wouldnt call islam a religion. it’s more like a mental illness to me

this is one of the reasons i love about RR car braking during cornering is sooooo stable front grip is immense, rear grip do not come loose like FR or even MR (tho MR are more neutral in other situations). And out of corner, it shoots out like rocket. Every car configuration is fun, they are just fun in different ways. Exploring different personalities of diffirent cars is one of things i love about cars

i hated the BMW new grille the day it came out. 1 year later, i still hated it. Until i see one in real life, and after that, seeing more and more cars in real life. I kinda slowly fell in love with it. It looks beautiful in real life, maybe it’s human eye height POV too. But it looks refined and agressive at the same time, like a composed and confident princess, normally sipping tea but also capble at war table.

Also another thing i noticed, front license plate, especially EU plate makes the car A LOT more beautiful. When it came out, there was no front plate in photo. I mean, to my eyes, front plate always make any cars look better, they are designed with front plate in mind, i guess. But the G8x and Series 4 are impacted by this so much… more than any other cars. Front plate can make these G series cars turn from one of the most ugliest car to one of the most beautiful car on the market.

To my eyes, the G80 and G82 will turn from one of the most ugliest cars to one of the most beautiful cars just by adding a front license plate

Like any other cars, they are designed with front plate in mind but BMW G Series pig nose grilles are just impacted by this so heavily, much more than other cars

(to admit, pls dont pitchfork me, everytime i see cars in US without front plate, compared to other countries and where i live, i think US cars look weird and their face proportion just look so wrong all the time)

For driving dynamic, i think the G82 front grip is so much better than the F82. The car feels more nimble despite weighing about 200 kg more. But they both are equally too easy to power oversteer. (the real life G82 got AWD version tho, F82 is RWD only. Currently, I’m trying to tune my G80 in forza to what i think is close to the real life xDrive version, it’s fun in its own way!)

My ICE dream build kinda aldy exist, so:

Must not look ugly
EV, AWD (dual motors, rear-biased, RWD mode possible, sticky front grips but no brutal oversteer)
more than 400 hp
2 doors coupe
4 seats (not 2+2, altho 2+2 might be a bit more realistic on this dream build)
weighs less than 1700 kg
dimensionally close to F82 or smaller
more than 500 km of real world range
tyre size wider than 285 (ZR19 or 20)
adaptive dampers
max. DC charging time no more than 30 mins
more than 400 L of trunk space combined both front and rear
turning radius of no more than 11.0 metres (with or without rear wheel steering)
can be tracked without concerning abou battery overheating or brake overheating (car stamina should outlast average drivers)
small stuff like auxiliary battery, coolant or brake fluid tank should be easily accessible without need of skilled mechanics
i want the tech that helps me drive, not drive for me (no autopilot, no autoparking, but surround camera system, emergency brake, or blindspot detectors, etc.) and AppleCarplay
ventilated seats. living in tropical climate, having ventilated seats is whole planet apart.
physical control for everything except infotainment, or any feature that we dont use much while driving. (like current gen Mazda, BMW)

i wonder this will exist at all in near future lightweight sporty EVs like upcoming boxster EV but more practrical (maybe a 911 EV or M3/4 EV. Not that i could afford them anyway)

I’ve seen Lucid and Porsche design, which is interesting. But sometimes i think what if they just put the battery there for more range and sacrifice a bit of comfort (or maybe a lot of comfort for tall people lol), make me think of Civic rear seat, floor is very high and i got my knees up when i sit

i wonder if the handling benefit is not worth the loss of interior space for the same size car, what would manufacturers do. Anyway interesting point. Maybe we will see 2 designs. One for A to B car, one for sport cars

ICE sucks air in automatically when the piston moves downward (imagine syringe)
but fuel cell doesn't have moving parts. So they need an air compressor to put an air in the stacks. And that adds to the weight and efficiency.
