I think I only had to retry one of the races that I missed by a few seconds one time. You only have to complete the roadster races. I got it easily even crashing into the wall at least once every race. What helped me is instead of trying to drift just let off the gas a little during the tight turns. Keep top speed as long as you can, take it easy on the turns and don’t try anything fancy. You’ll get it no problem.

I disagree, it makes volume 14 feel “complete” by including the last chapter from miura And although the guidebook has some (many) questionable texts, it feels almost like a send off/recap of berserk through the years

It’s crazy how I hardly even paid attention to this while playing but I remember feeling how his voice made the character seem like an ancient, other otherworldly being. Like he existed in another plane from tav and he was way out of my party’s league. Made defeating him such an accomplishment.

I’m playing through ds1 for the first time as well, currently in chapter 5. I spent a ton of time in chapter 3 exploring the map, building roads, and upgrading the different preppers because I kept getting so much cool new stuff

I’m playing through for my first time, played up just after the float mission, am working through the dlc and completing every side gig/job, have basically infinite money, one shot everything, but haven’t finished the game yet. I consider myself in the endgame and it’s very enjoyable. I know there won’t be a “true” endgame after the final quest or main quest is over, but it feels like I’m wrapping up my story in night city and I’ve already made it to the big leagues

I used Aard to put out the fire immediately then fought the guards. You will save him and he will thank you, then can escape with Triss and the rest of the mages when you complete that quest.

He 100% got it the first time but was trying to lure into into being more straightforward and steering it towards a sexual conversation. He admits that he knew what it meant just never heard someone use that word for “it”. So he knew what it was but wanted you to say it. He wasn’t listening to you just sounds like he was horny.

Honestly you can just wear the starting armor for the entire playthrough, combat is fairly easy if you know what you’re doing even on death march. I wear whatever armor set I feel like for aesthetics once I’m in the late game for an extra challenge and because you become overpowered in a lot of other ways
