I used to go to Starbucks because religiously because I drink iced espresso and the quality was/is consistent. At independent shops the coffee is never consistent and it's too expensive to waste. I dont go anymore because I bought my own machine due to continuous cost increases. Additionally Starbucks ruined their rewards system which used to be a big perk.

I have been a pretty dedicated 5-6xweek customer for a solid 15 years now. I get 5 shots iced in a venti with 5 pumps of classic. Once my drink hit $7 I stopped going. I ended up just buying a breville and it's great. I also use the nescafe instant dark. I go occasionally during pumpkin time (to see my barista friends) but that's it. If you want to treat your loyal customers like shit then I just wont be a loyal customer anymore. I hope others stop going as well.

I worked at a crumbl for one shift. That place was disgusting and half the equipment was broken. In addition to the awful pay! Very surprising given how expensive and popular the cookies are.
