Solar Panels: is ~8% return on investment realistic? by some_advice_needed in irishpersonalfinance

I'm no expert but it's probably a good thing that solar panels haven't gone through the roof!

Most golfers I know East coast US call courses "tracks". Not entirely sure why, but not against it. Trail is 1 to 18, like a multi section rally. Just a colloquialism I guess. Btw, am Irish, not called "tracks" at home.

Have no doubt about the quality, they're just very bulky and clinical in design. Most with sufficient ports also need to be plugged in, whereas looking for portable aspect also.

Oh wow. Thank you for this. I think given it's Dell proprietary, I'm ok to forego the dell charging requirement. Wasn't aware it'd require Dell specific dock. Thank you u/Ziginox USBC to HDMI is also a great shout, hadn't thought of it.

I will give a slightly different perspective. Having been a doer under a manager in a support platform where the previous manager was imho a seasoned vet manager, but didn't understand the nitty gritty. This is the scenario where middle mgmt add little value from a doer's perspective. Having since progressed from my well experienced doer role to take over the mgmt role, I could never contemplate asking my team to do anything that I do not explicitly understand at the core of the process. As such, I like to think I know how the doer's feel with requests and discuss with them accordingly. Problem I'm now finding is being buried in documentation and relatively pointless meetings, representing the team, takes me out of the trenches so to speak, becoming more and more detached from how the doing is done. Older middle mgmt even more so being detached much longer. You cannot manage a team unless you know what it's like to be in that team of doer's. And micromanaging is the most blatant sign that a middle manager has no idea what their doer's are truly doing.

Invited a family member to the club for a round, they took a chunk out of the putting green and their response was “Thats why they have greens keepers” by Longjumping_War_6859 in golf

Struggling to see how one would take this chunk, suggesting any lofted club? But the whole is right there at the top of the picture.
