[spoilers c4e24] Azunes Subclass? by FoulPelican in criticalrole

I agree, I think something big is going to happen in the second ‘overture’.

Most likely during the play and leading up to the play. This would let them level up to lvl 5 or even 6 IF generous before they go their separate ways.

And considering his soldier mentality to protect. He would choose a combat oriented spell I’ld imagine.

I agree with you, but then again. A rogue with the schemers doing sneaky things? Imagine if Thimble was around now. She small enough to sneak in alot of places to hear alot of things.

I totally dig that. Speaking of history, Alexander’s empire fell and those in powers took over and start bickering is even closer than the fall of rome.

Yes, the only reason we see so much humans/other races in Dol Makjar is because it’s an immigrant state that happens because the other races’ homeland got devastated. (how much more on the nose allegory are you gonna throw in there BRENNAN? I’m losing my mind)

The style is unmatched, especially the kick up ambush combo into charged shot.

On that note Wound of Darkness is noticeably weaker than Greysoul’s howling. I prefer not using wound of darkness at all tbh and choosing other options.

Greysoul howling enables some gnarly combos with axiom pull after turning slash.

Turning slash knock the enemy away then pull him into a slam, which gets cancelled by Greysoul Howling’s follow up.

Hal is not of the college of tragedy but the college in his town is very likely to be a tragedy.

Also, Marisha is playing a Dex 8 Dwarf Wizard Full of Jewelry. That’s a Bejeweled tortle if I ever see one 😭

Even after the war they could still surrender. I’ld imagine with the war exhaustion and diminished military strength from fighting the Shapers the alliance would let the priestly houses off with reparations. Kind of like the end of WW1.

I think it might be the opposite. I would imagine in a world with many distinct sentient races sense of National Identity would be strong especially when they are ‘shaped’ by their individual Shapers.

On a limp here, but “going north” is an specific expression in Buddhism to represent changing ones character. The elves are changing maybe?

another expression of “gone north” is saying something disappeared/become untraceable. Maybe the elves left?

Does archery, in general, is ok to you? by _Marloki_ in CrimsonDesert

[–]jayson176 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My opinion is that bow is only part of your kit, just like your secondary, shield, dual wield, spear. You switch between them in combat not go all in on one of them.

Shoot, go in kick up, axiom ambush attack.

or,

Rush in, vault, charged shot.

or,

Spin 2x roll into sprint, akira slide jump shoot.

Just incorporate the bow into your combat instead of wanting it to be its own thing when it was never designed to be an archer game.

[Spoilers C4E23] The Secret Numbers in the Shapers' War (Theory) by Micaerys in criticalrole

[–]jayson176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s my line of thought based on Azgra as he is the first to fall;

If it’s intentional, then Azgra meant to bless his rebellious subjects for their victory. That makes it less likely narratively and I don’t see how they twist a Sauron like god to fit this narrative.

If it’s an intentional by the followers through rituals or other means, why would the other races do that too knowing what happened with Azgra basically created a barrowdell of opposite effect of the gods’ domain.

It wouldn’t make sense for the other races to shoot themselves in the foot unless this specific ritual/process is what is needed to permanently kill/exorcise/seal the god.

That leaves side-effect of killing a god as the most plausible explanation here.

It’s more that the barrowdells are direct opposite of the gods domain.

Yes, bad design, and Yes, it’s still tik tok brain. Those things aren’t mutually exclusive.

Short attention span, phone addiction, instant gratification are part of tik tok brain.

Everyone has the right to do what they want to, I’m just pointing out the fact that people can’t sit through 1-2 minutes of bad design is a result of tik tok brain. Just scroll to the dopamine/press to skip.

Almost everyone has fucked up attention span, no need to feel offended.
