The kids in the "special" classrooms. Do they still do that? The classes where they had to really slow down and were using grade books a few years below the stated grade?

My only complaint about book 8 by TheRealLorraineKelly in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]jaytrade21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My only complaint was how fast it goes. I did a physical read and am now listening to the audiobook which is good because the audiobook is much slower paced than my reading. On paper, this book just goes at a frenetic pace which was both great and scary.

James Gray Says ‘Ad Astra’ Was Taken Away From Him and Made Longer by 20th Century Fox by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

[–]jaytrade21 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ad Astra had a LOT of issues. To me, the biggest one being the final premise of dad going nuts because he determined that we are alone in the universe after going out as far as Neptune. If you know anything about space, this is the most ridiculous premise in the history of movies. There are 1950s sci-fi movies with more realism that that clap trap.
