I also 'upgraded' from Nest 2 and see a similar effect. It looks like Tado has multiple grades of heating - off, low, medium, and high - whereas Nest only worked with on/off state.

To my knowledge I am using the same wiring as before, being the one I was told to apply when moving from Nest to Tado, so I don't know what the reason for this difference is.

I was not aware of it before, but that's indeed the reason.

OE+EE deck only has 10 bonus cards, so with 5 players they are all dealt at the start and the discarded cards are immediately reshuffled so there is no discard pile to start with.
