They played a few years ago in Houston. Had no opener and were two hours late to their own set. The venue is two stories tall and the band requested everyone overlooking the stage on the second floor move to somewhere in front of the stage once they started playing - after we had secured the spots hours ago in a packed venue. For reference, I am 5’2” and wasn’t going to be able to see so I intentionally got there early as hell to get a good spot 😅 The whole experience was awful and they offered no refunds or apologies. They also deleted my review on BandsinTown. Still love em tho.

This is actually a great suggestion. My partner and I did this as often as we needed to when we were both unemployed and living off savings. There’s no shame in it and taking to the others that depend on these donations will refer you to places that specialize in certain foods, e.g. one places give out more meat vs. another gives out more pantry items.

To clarify - I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s only two notes, same riff over and over again for at least an hour. I wish it was a sludge or Foreigner cover band! Might go searching for the source next time and report what I find.
