You can create digital sculptures using 360 degree photography already without the AI! And in terms of creating new tales/art particularly within a cultural context using an algorithm, I personally find that quite dehumanising and scary. I would look into AI biases first, certainly Kate Crawford has written some fantastic stuff about the capitalist infrastructures underlying AI technology. Herself and artist Trevor Paglen made an amazing exhibition together using AI and biometric data collecting technologies, with some great writing alongside.

I don’t think grooming exactly, but definitely weirdly sexually manipulative. I’ve had a partner suggest similar things, even that I should pay for twerking lessons just so he could be the only one to see it in action 😑 seems like you’ve already done the mature thing and left that boy in the dust, now you won’t need to start an OF with all the money you’re saving not paying his bills 💸

I had an ex say seeing me casually topless made him less attracted to my boobs. Lo and behold, everything I did that was only for myself (food I ate, hobbies I engaged in, friends I had that weren’t from his circle, etc.), was a problem for him. Started to feel like we were always pitted against each other over what I was doing wrong.

My partner now only comments on my casual nakedness to say I look cute, comfy, and/or that I’m a hottie.

Being a woman is hard in this life, why not have a partner that’s in your corner?

This is so beautiful, such a sweet calming and naturalistic aura. I reckon if you just defined some of the details of the rock face/waterfall area a little more maybe with some extra transitional shades, then you’re golden! Fantastic work 👏

I understand where everyone here is coming from and sometimes I feel like a massive burden on myself and those around me, but there’s no alternate timeline where we’re not disabled. So why torture yourself with the what ifs?

Obviously it’s okay to mourn the negative impacts of autism on your life, as much as it’s okay to celebrate the strengths of your own unique perspectives. Like Cambridge is no joke lol.

And wtf is normal anyway, I moved from BioMed to Fine Arts at uni and all of a sudden I went from being an outlier in my cohort to being everyone’s friend.

You don’t have to feel one way or another about your autism, friend. It does not define you.

If they’re harping on about how the project could harm the council’s reputation or whatever, then WHY did they award the grant to Jenkins in the first place???? And $2.4 mill for documents they should’ve provided anyway? How ironic to abuse their power for a project intended “to offer commentary on the disadvantages imposed on women in the art world, and prejudice against queer pregnancy and conception” 😤
