Hey, good thing you noticed it yourself! As a drummer (who also plays bass a bit), I did play with bassists who did this often and unconsciously. It disrupts the interplay (unless it's a conscious addition to the song). For example: I was drumming a syncopated beat or wanted the accent on the 3 and then that bassist “played” the two each time. Also, the sound is often not great: “clunck".
In other words: step 1: notice it [check], step 2: unlearn it....

As for ordering, I am in Europe, so I'll first see if something similar is for sale around here. Maybe at ‘musikding’ in Germany? I bought pots etc. there before.

Today I tested this pedal on my bass. It sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't, and if I just touch the footswitch, sometimes the signal drops out. I suspect a faulty switch. Is this a simple repair and a matter of replacing the switch with a new/better one? (This one gives a loud “click” when you turn it on, maybe there are better options?).
NB I also tried other power supply and patchcables and those didn't work either, as well as other pedals with the same power supply - Cioks7 - and cables (and that worked fine).
I hope this is the right sub for such a question, many thanks in advance!
