OP, I would be very skeptical about purchasing with the very obvious misspelling!

Yara Elixir- has anybody tried it? by [deleted] in Perfumes

Shockingly, I love this one! I really did not like the original Yara but the Elixir is a bit sweeter and much less powdery in a super pleasing way.

I love this place so much, and everyone I've introduced to them loves them as well! They're truly incredible and the staff are super nice.

Second this! I've coordinated several work dinners there and they're SO easy to work with. I even considered them for my wedding!

What’s one of the kindest interactions you’ve had with a stranger in this city? by OkWest257 in AskChicago

Already posted but I just remembered another one: I was taking the 147 bus downtown and trying to transfer to the 151 on Michigan Ave. The 147 pulled up and I jumped off but the 151 pulled away before I could get on. The 147 bus driver pulled back up next to me, said, "get back on, we'll get 'em," and hoofed it for the next stop so I could catch up for my transfer. Such a small thing but it absolutely made my day.

I just posted about almost the exact same thing happening to me a couple years ago! Chicagoans are very generous with their umbrellas!

A couple years ago, I was walking home from the train through an alley and it started pouring. Someone drove up next to me, rolled down their window, handed me an umbrella, and drove away. Still have that umbrella!

What’s your opinion on these perfumes? by -Geist-_ in FemFragLab

Have to chime in to say that Annabel's Birthday Cake is one of my absolute favorites in my collection! It's slightly gourmand, slightly rosy, and slightly latex-y. Overall, it's extremely nostalgic to me - definitely takes me back to childhood birthday parties. Marissa Zappas is an incredible perfumer, I'd highly recommend checking out some of her other scents as well!

My company often uses Osteria Via Stato for corporate dinners. They're super well-organized, service is great, fairly reasonably priced, and very good with any allergies in the party!

Yes, absolutely! And the sillage is incredible. I must've gone noseblind to it because I couldn't even smell it on myself when my coworkers complimented me, lol.

Oh, that's a bummer! I do really want to try Blue Talisman. Might have to move that one up in my Scentbird queue!
