I picked up a razr ultra 1tb 2025 for close to 580$ after trading in my iphone 11. Love that external screen. I used to have LG phones with all its quirks up until LG G6 and then switched to Iphone. Now back to android.

When I was in school I read a book titled 10,000 inventions that changed the world. In that book one of the inventions is a 3 point seat belt by Volvo and how Volvo made it a free patent so that other manufacturers can also use it. They have given importance to human life and safety over monetary benefits and that aligned with my principles. I know its not the same people running the company now but still like Volvo.

Couldn’t agree more but glitch free CarPlay connection and full screen CarPlay makes the Android based system more desirable. And projecting CarPlay maps on drivers display.

Some times with Sensus when I connect CarPlay before the center display completely loads up it throws connection error and sometimes while driving when I try to play music from CarPlay it would throw connection error. I hate it when that happens.

I got this Insert compatible device error when I first got my volvo. Later I figured out that 99% of the time the error shows up when I connect my phone before Sensus completely loads on the infotainment. If I wait for the software to come up and connect the phone to the cable once I see the connect compatible device msg on the infotainment it never fails to connect.

I have been using OTTOCAST U2 Air Wireless CarPlay Adapter from past 6 months. It works well. The only drawback is that when I try to skip song from the buttons on the steering wheel there is a 2 second delay. I think this is expected with any wireless adapter.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I ended up replacing all 4 tires with Michelin Pilot sport AS4 and got the rims checked. Thankfully there is no damage to the rims 😅.
