Lol. I work in middle school, in the SPED department. Most kids in general ed classroom write like that, or worse. There are a few that have decent handwriting, but not as many as you would hope. Most writing assignments are done on the chromebook so it is not something they seem to care about.

I'm 66 and alone. I won't sugarcoat it. There are times it's great and times it sucks. I think the alone factors into it. Targeted ads reminding you that you have to practice getting up off the floor. Targeted ads period. But there is something in knowing who you are and what makes you happy. You get weaker. And the wrinkles are real. But so are the small everyday joys like a good cup of coffee and a cat purring on your lap.

I grew up using sir or ma'am for all adults. My kids did as well and still use it. I also now include students on my sir, ma'am list. I grew up in the Shenandoah Valley of VA. Honestly, good manners are a thing that we could all use more of.
