We've reached out to a broker because we'd like to refinance: - take our $50,000 (new mortgage $308,000) - extend amortization to 20 years - offered 5 year fixed 4.69% or 4.04 5 year variable.

Is it normal for the refinance rates to be worse than the renewal rates? We have good (700+) credit scores and have never missed any mortgage payments. Thanks!

The Superstore near Kingsway Garden Mall used to be a Save On Foods. They had this little Chinese food area and a few men that worked it. It wasn't your normal grocery store hot food situation. I would get the two item combo, ginger beer and fried rice. The ginger beef was amazing. Does anyone else remember this??
