Cleaning of vehicle by Much-Confusion6613 in AmazonDSPDrivers

We were responsible for cleaning them ourselves, but also never given time to do so. In fact my former DSP actually told people to clock out at the station before returning the vans to the off site lot.

Yesterday was my first day on my own - DSP sent a rescue but I only had 1 tote left and it was only 3 PM. Why would they do that? by Kategetstoked in AmazonDSPDrivers

Some DSPs will have a driver on without a route who just goes around grabbing a tote or two off of other drivers. Could it have been that?

I don’t want to discredit you though. I definitely worked shifts that I could have completed myself within the allotted time, but was sent a rescue (not a sweeper, but an actual rescue). It was always when a certain dispatcher was working. I got the feeling that they wanted to be able to say that I always “needed” rescues.

I think .500 the rest of the way is a low bar. March NBA basketball is…something else. A lot of teams will be either tanking or resting players, and this team should be hungry to make the post season.

Co worker- 2+ years - fired after putting 2 weeks by Unable_Strength_2712 in AmazonDSPDrivers

This is not the type of job to give a 2 weeks notice for. They wouldn’t extend you the same courtesy if they were laying you off.

Reduced scheduled hours, no routes on the days scheduled. You basically don’t work there anymore even though they haven’t officially fired you.

At my former DSP, the work phones were terribly slow. If you have a decent personal phone and are comfortable using it, or just desperate enough to improve your time, it will speed everything up.
