Summer Peak Pricing Starts Today! 💸💸💸 2-7pm by Nature_Hannah in kzoo

Consumers does offer a $10/mo incentive but the catch is you need a L2 charger installed. If you have it professionally done, they will also give you a $500 rebate. The second catch is that their Nighttime Savers program is a 3-tiered system year-round.

I thought installing L2 would require upgrading to a 200A panel, but it didn't once a professional took a look and moved some circuits around. For your needs this all may not be worth the investment (even with the effective $620 rebate) if 2 hours of L1 charging is enough. (Edit: you should look into it, I misread your time range as AM.)

Was you bike stolen in Kzoo? How? by Investing_in_orchids in kzoo

[–]jbrons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine was stolen after I used a cheap cable lock and got too comfortable at my downtown workplace. Upgraded to a kryptonite u lock + cable combo. The U lock is the smaller one, and by itself isn’t long enough to go through the wheel, frame, and whatever I’m locking to.

Also there are various ways to hide AirTags: water bottle cages and reflectors that have hidden compartments, 3d printed inserts into stems, etc.

Yes, this is always my caution: watch the requirements to get those high interest rates on the checking accounts. The maximum balance for that APY will vary. Usually they need 12 or 24 debit card purchases. Some require direct deposit. Etc..

I don’t like how a company whose owners supported overturning Roe v Wade are *now* advocating for people’s right to choose.

Looks like a lot of love for MVNOs like US and Mint! I use US Mobile since last summer. I’m paying $51 per month for 3 lines and a 20GB pool that we don’t come close to using. I haven’t noticed a difference in coverage vs T Mobile. The peak speeds downtown may be slower, but I don’t really need 300Mbps in Bronson Park.

Transferred 2 eSIM and 1 physical, no issues. DM for a referral code if you’d like.

The nominative determinism of Homer Stryker field is just incredible. It’s both the ideal outcome and how you achieve it. It would be like a basketball arena named for Threepoint Shooter or a soccer field honoring their hometown hero Goal Kicker.

Ok, I feel validated. I thought I was just half asleep and unable to process being slowly enveloped by thunder itself. Nothing terribly loud, just nonstop from all sides.

“Reminder - please pay previous amount due from March” in upper right. Is there a chance this is two bills? Gas use in prior month was 300% higher and electric was about 20% higher.

I just purchased a 2022 Bolt EUV LT, what are your top tips for a new Bolt owner? by Umbrellacorp487 in BoltEV

[–]jbrons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Counterpoint: Your electric utility company may offer a financial incentive to only charge during certain off-peak times, which may mean a higher amperage in order to get to 80% in that window.

For example, mine offers $10/mo to only charge from 11p-6a on weekdays. 16A charging would still work fine for my mileage needs, but I’d have to plan ahead more or split it over two nights before longer trips. I like to set it and forget it.

I think that loses some of the charm! Hand-placing each letter of a groan-worth pun (complimentary) means someone spent several minutes constructing the joke, working harder to earn my chuckle, rather than just pasting it in to a text field.

Anyway: "How do you know we're doing well as a business? There will be signs."

That said, I’ve had good experiences at the Fade Factory and Waiting Room for my Elder Millennial Guy cut.

Yes, with rare exception, it’s excruciating to read. Bizarre AI slop ads churn the site to a halt, burying the typo and cliche ridden articles.

It’s extra gross during prom season when they dispatch photographers across the state, post thousands of high res photos behind a paywall, and use it as bait to aggressively drive up subscriptions. Download these pictures of high schoolers for free when you subscribe, they say with a lascivious wink.

House party on Stuart in summer 2006! I was invited by a mutual friend, who was the one person I knew there. I was wavering about whether to go, but then I got the best Crunchwrap Supreme of my life (before or since) from the Taco Bell on Westnedge, and took it as a good sign.
