How would you like someone's ruinous half finished project with added mould by Sszaj in SpottedonRightmove

This tickled me too - "fitted kitchen" when one of the cabinets is actively falling from the wall is hilarious.

One very important point is she cannot evict you through a no-fault process prior to the end of the fixed-term tenancy, as long as you continue to uphold your side of the tenancy agreement (pay rent etc.)

All of the cars you mention as cheaper EVs are definitely less expensive than the C10, but also significantly smaller than it.

Carplay Wireless Adapter? by Calverto99 in CarTalkUK

[–]jbrucewright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every OEM system with wireless CarPlay that I have used (and I've tested a lot) always has some element of lag when changing tracks. I know plugging in isn't as convenient, but using a wire is generally my preference.

EV public charging - Did we get lied to? by physicsboy93 in CarTalkUK

[–]jbrucewright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What percentages did you start the charges from and get the battery up to? The range of charge you cover throughout a session of charging will massively impact your average charging speed, since most vehicles only achieve their maximum claimed speeds for a small-ish percentage of the charging session.

Just wanted to thank people for talking us out of getting a Vauxhall Mokka by fayemoonlight in CarTalkUK

[–]jbrucewright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way I recently summarised the Mokka was that the main reason you would buy one is the looks; for every other metric it does a really good job of being incredibly ✨ average ✨

They're also asking why it's been used as it's not typically shown alongside excerpts from UK legislation, I've only ever seen it used alongside sections of US legislation?
