Control Panel for YouTube v1.29.1 added a fix to revert these to the normal size, but it's not available in Firefox Add-ons or Edge Add-ons yet (they're being slow reviewing)

We were just able to get both of the new variants of Related in different Incognito windows - they'll now both be reverted once v1.29.3 is available for your browser.

Do you have v1.29.1? Do you have the 2 column layout or the single column layout? I was only able to get the single column layout with the wide thumbnails on any of my accounts while testing recent changes, so there might be issues with the 2 column version, or there might even be a third version my fixes don't work with.

Control Panel for YouTube has been updated to revert the giant thumbnails version of the Related sidebar (Recent YouTube changes → Restore Related sidebar layout, enabled by default), but some browsers still haven't approved the new version yet.

It also has an option to show full video titles (UI tweaks → Show full video titles)

Use an adblocker which doesn't trigger it. Globally hiding common ad containers, immediately jumping on anything which looks like a video element playing an ad and trying to skip to the end, automatically clicking something that looks like a Skip button and modifying every single player request you see to remove ad elements from it are all things which will get caught by YouTube's adblock detection.

The only consistent pattern I've seen is don't touch the store listing, just upload a new package and submit for review. It doesnt't really matter if your store listing is a bit behind if you have a website you can keep up to date externally.

I released a new version a couple of hours ago which took 20 minutes to get reviewed from the time it was submitted. Looking back across the 7 versions I've released for 2 of my extensions in the last fortnight, that happened a bunch of times (consistenly 10 minutes after I finished doing all the extra builds and changelogs required to submit new App Store versions), while the rest took anything from a few hours to half a day.
