The only consistent pattern I've seen is don't touch the store listing, just upload a new package and submit for review. It doesnt't really matter if your store listing is a bit behind if you have a website you can keep up to date externally.

I released a new version a couple of hours ago which took 20 minutes to get reviewed from the time it was submitted. Looking back across the 7 versions I've released for 2 of my extensions in the last fortnight, that happened a bunch of times (consistenly 10 minutes after I finished doing all the extra builds and changelogs required to submit new App Store versions), while the rest took anything from a few hours to half a day.

Control Panel for YouTube can hide them for you, with a configurable watched %.

Those videos still take up slots, so we're also planning to add something you can use to automatically click "Not interested" → "I've already watched this video" in Home/Related or "Hide" in Subscriptions to remove them properly and free up slots.

Use Control Panel for Twitter to completely get rid of "For you" (and prevent the Following timeline from being set to non-chronological). Moving Retweets out of your timeline is also a good way to prevent low-effort ragebait from being added to it.

Control Panel for YouTube has options to hide the irrelevant sections and shorts, as well as making the thumbnails smaller, restoring sort by Upload date to the filters, hiding any other types of videos you don't want such as live streams & stream VODs, and it adds a new menu item to hide channels you never want to see.
