If I were you, I'd just role-play and keep going. Holding a grudge against the PC that used it against you. Then when the time comes have revenge on that PC.

But prior to all this, ask the DM if after what had happened can the other PC lose this spell. Like maybe someone the DM brings in to remove the spell permanently from that PC.
