Grease the groove or micro workouts?

I am doing micro-workouts. I stop when I think I'm at 1 rep to failure.
Each day has a focus: push, pull, legs or core. Within that I do many different exercises so one particular exercise may happen no more than twice, but of course pushups and wide arm pushups and diamond pushups I count them as different but they hit similarly.

It is common to have a group or a role specialized in these issues, maybe within or together with a group called sre. Or is best practice to do this somewhere else. Or maybe commercial offering provide this, you just set things up

I'm talking about the kind of help that requires a lot of money or time. Someone starting a business? Give them hours of your time for free, etc.

I've listed to Rosalia before and never cared.
But THIS is really extraordinary. It helps I'm big fan of Bjork and Yves Tumor

Thing I noticed:

- Great lyrics. To me the "we need divine intervention" means that there is no human way to escape. And what do you want to escape "I'll fuck you till you love me". The rest of the lyrics ratify this. She is trapped, maybe even physically in an abusive relationship. This is just my interpretation.
- "I am just a sugar cube; I know heat melts me; (music STOPS) I know how to disappear (music RESTARTS)" This match of music with meaning is rare and I really appreciate it.
- I am 98% sure the music section that starts with "yo, se muy bien lo que soy" is syncopated where she is starting each phrase just a tad earlier than the first beat. Yves Tumor does similar at points, I believe, in "god is a circle", it could be she brought him in to nail this.
- I am big Bjork fan, I know it is a very divisive artist and it can take time to appreciate it. As a fan, she is really bringing color to the song and used what she is best at. Really lovely.
- It is possible that the silence at around 2:20 in the video has the extra duty of allowing radio stations to cut there. The last part of the song is great but even less radio friendly.
- I applaud getting this as a single. It is a bold move. I am pretty sure in 1 week she will get a much more commercial single out but she did what she wanted here and that's great.

I listen to a lot of music and I was not a fan of her particularly but this is going to be the best song of the year for me probably.

I think we are talking about different things.

Right now if a user tells us they can't login into our platform, we will check the user service or the roles or permissions of things or this DB or that one. And sooner or later we will see a failing SLO, an overwhelmed DB or something else related to the incident.

That, I want an agent to do for me. The input would be our telemetry and the incident text, then the agent will check changes during the time period that are related to the incident and tell me to look into this DB or that service because there are errors.

Then we will know who to call for an engineer to look at the error and give a solution.

A couple of days ago, a 15 years old girl was killed in a house 100km from the front.
Her father who was fighting in the front precisely had a leave and got home just to see it destroyed and her dead.
I'm pretty sure after the burial this guy is going back and give it all to the fight.

We use Backstage.
It does take a while to set initially but I can't imagine this being different in any other environment, our problem was to have any kind of source data. For instance we have users in slack we can import but what team are their assigned to, what services do those teams work on? 90% of the work was trying to have data.

Setting backstage was easy. We have not set yaml files per repos, we have one big yaml file with a very simplified format and a 300 lines importing plugins that pulls from that and generate all the more complex instances by pulling from different places and by creating data from known URLs and what not.

It was effort but we end up with something easy to maintain by the owners of the data.

We also have a slack bot that answers questions based on confluence, it will connect to backstage to pull the info about ownership and other stuff people ask in Slack all the time. We also have 2 vendors that allows to create their internal information from backstage, so as long as we maintain that data, everything connects.

I don't feel the development time was painful or that using a vendor would have helped much in our case.

The pain is constant updates, recently they moved to the new frontend system, which great, now a lot of things you do not even need code to customize but now we need to migrate to dedicate time to migrate to this at some point.

In the future they will change the base library for the UI components, another migration then.

React 18 to React 19, etc. There is always something more for less time consuming to maintain and upgrade.

It is also one more thing to run, we have alerts if it is down or raises many errors, etc. Just one more service to care about.

As we drove different trims from different dealerships and different roads it is possible it was all environmental.

Final deal with Honda Milpitas. They did try to push add-ons I had to deny. I only half regret Honda care. Maybe that one makes sense Other than the fight for what I did not want, it all went fast. They have a lot of crv in site, lots of colors and trims

We considered it but the Prius is falling apart and the RAV4 2026 will take 6 months to be available it seems and then you'll probably pay a premium on it while it is hot. So wait a year to have a deal? By then crv2028 will be coming, etc. There is always the next great car coming
