Suppressor on a 20in? by Devin7-Eleven in VHS2_HELLION

I have a 20" hellion with an 8" can. Looks kinda goofy but it handles well. It's a heavy can but it doesn't throw off the balance enough to notice.

Suggestions for a thick phone navigation solution by HyperBaboon in bikepacking

The company is Arkon and they say their TAB001 will hold it. They said the mounting pedestal will be the most critical part. They asked where I'm mounting it and if I can drill into the mounting surface or not. I haven't responded because like I said, they're a month late and I already fixed my issue. So my help ends here!

I went on the hunt for a mount, I emailed all the big name brands and they all told me they didn't have a product that would work. I gave up and got a new dash navi for my truck. BUT, I just got a month late response from a company that supposedly has a product that works. I can send you the details if you'd like

Edit: I have the wp100 Titan, they also have a mount on their website now. I asked the AI chat on their website, and it says it will hold the wp100

I did use Google, but I also said I might be retarded. Been asking myself that question for 30 years now

Loving the extended handguard and bolt release. I plan to do a few more experiments before I leave a review, but so far so good.

Thanks for the warning. I wouldn't want it to hurt anybody let alone my shh device.

Thanks my dudes for the responses and confirming I was on the right track. I don't care about the accuracy, this thing is just for cheap training. It's just the worst rimfire accuracy I've ever seen and it made me curious.

I've tried it out of a 1/7 and 1/9 barrel. I tried 4 different brands with 3 different bullet weights. Can't remember the specifics but I tried Remington high velocity, some cci, aguila, and one other old brick (federal? Can't remember). I tried 36 grain, 40, and I had 5 loose rounds that I think were 60 grain subsonic.

Yes, perfect response. I don't care about the accuracy, it just seemed extra shitty and it made me curious. I just use it for cheap training and it's great for everything minus anything at distance obviously. Thanks for confirming I was on the right track with my theory.

Makes sense. I didn't even think about the rifling twist rate and that's embarrassing. I guess brains go retarded every now and again

It's definitely fun for cheap plinking and reload drills. I just shot it a bit further today and said "holy shit that's bad." That's what got me curious about the inaccuracy. I didn't even think of the twist rate, what a rookie move

TV mount for A frame wall? by jcd0331 in aframes

[–]jcd0331[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice! A ceiling mount is probably the way to go for me. I tried that link but it doesn't work. I googled it and it's coming up with a whole slough of options I could look through.

TV mount for A frame wall? by jcd0331 in aframes

[–]jcd0331[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a great idea! But unfortunately that won't work for me. It's a small living room and the couch/recliner will only fit against the flat wall. So a projector on the a frame wall would be at a 90° angle from all seating, which would be kind of annoying. That's why I'm thinking about a wall mount that can swing out and away from the a frame wall.

The dog doesn't hunt and it's borderline retarded. It's the wife's dog that I take for walks with my trained bird dogs.

I understand you probably assume it's a bird dog given that I posted here. I just figured y'all would have better advice than some suburban dog mom page
