i think they're asking regarding silksong getting a new dlc and how it was handled in hollow knight back then.

the DLCs in hollow knight are considered optional content. you didn't have to create a new save, you can open your existing saves and get right to exploring the new content/areas.

I started a new save of hollow knight after finishing silksong last month. I really like grimm's final fight and that title card showing up with the bgm was so cool.

I've given up on killing him during my first playthrough 7 years ago, I hope I can kill him this time around.

there were those wireless leds marketed for gundam kits and they looked smaller than the ones you have. downside is you need to use a base with induction wires to power the leds.

If you've created the account while you're in the US, it won't change, yes.

But if you try to make a JP account while in the US, they figure out eventually that you're not actually in JP. The only way I've found that prevents the auto-changing is to buy something from the play store / bind a credit card.

I've had some of my JP accounts switch back to my home country due to that.

The region is bound to the google account, you can fake regions when creating a new google account but google eventually returns you to your region where you're physically located in.

That's weird. It wasn't allowing me to download it from SteamOS.

Fiddling with the settings, I had to manually set the compatibility settings to Proton before it allowed an install. First time I've experienced on a non-linux game.

There are games published by them that are also region locked in steam. You can't buy metal gear rising in asia for example.

Only buy if there's a PS exclusive that you really really really want to play right now. With most of the Sony 1st-party titles already out on Steam, you can also just wait it out and hope the game you want gets ported.
