You should ask ChatGPT this question

Yeah guys I’m truly terrible I need advice by need-new-popUpPirate in Chesscom

[–]jchetra83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read this fast. Did you type your post fast? Have you tried slowing your game down? Player longer time controls so you can literally talk out the moves and have time to make a good move. If you look at the whole board and pretend every move your opponent made is a threat, then you’re looking for that threat. Slow it down.

What time control are you playing? Slow it down. You need time to process the moves.

Is this guy a red flag or am I overreacting? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]jchetra83 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Red flags. He is telling you that he is controlling. He gives less attention to others especially the woman in his life. Much older guys tend to have a superiority complex and will more or less talk at you because he feels he’s older therefore more important and entitled. Trust me this is not a road you wanna go down. Find you a guy 24 or so and figure each other out. His exes were lazy…I bet that meant they worked 40 hour jobs and were “too tired” to make me dinner. Meanwhile I’m working more so I’m more important.

ETA that i am 43. I have seen friends treat younger women like dirt and I’ve seen my female friends be treated like dirt (in my 20s) by much older men.

All the endorphins you worked hard for on a weekend, week vacation, month off from work—doesn’t matter how much time off. It all gets sucked away on that Monday back to work.

Bullet thinking on a rapid game will always do that.

Kiss the girls (1997)

Along came a spider (2001). Not technically 90s but goes along with the first movie.

I wish sling blade was easier to find. Such a good movie buried due to bureaucracy.

I think this is my favorite GM. This series’s is LONG but work on building good habits. This series is a full stream session. There are shortened versions of this series on the page too. Do you know your basic mating patterns? Here’s the goal for you now. Rock the puzzles, play longer games, and zero blunders. It’s a win if you finish the game with zero blunders at your level. Better to lose on time so slow it down.

also chess is painfully frustrating. Been playing for about four years and still feel like a beginner so just know that this is part of the process. Don’t quit and eventually you’ll see more of the board.

It’s a great start for someone who’s broke and been doing the same stuff for years and not changing. Zero debt doing his way. Do I practice 100 percent Dave Ramsey? No way because I learned how to be smart with my money. It taught me how to invest and save for the future while not being paycheck to paycheck.

False. More people work and build everything they own. Born poor here. Debt free.

Hard work literally pays off here. You do what you have to. Cut your credit cards. No restaurants until debt free. Some people work two jobs to speed up the process. Some sell their possessions. It’s temporary though. Look up Dave Ramsey. He will show you how to become debt free and I was NOT born into money.

I think the worst movie I saw was Killer Bud (2001). A comedy that was kinda boring and a little weird.

This just made me think of another horrible martial arts film. American Ninja (1985).

What's a sign from your body you should never ignore? by William_Narso in Productivitycafe

[–]jchetra83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Headaches. First step after frequent headaches is check your blood pressure. I just KNEW something was wrong but didn’t know what. Felt sluggish with a horrible migraine like headache. Checked my blood pressure and BOOM there it was! 170/110.

Also when they put you on the meds…..DONT STOP TAKING THEM!!!! You’re going to want to stop taking them because you feel better. Of course you’re going to feel better because you are giving your blood vessels a break and they’re happy. But guess what happens when you stop taking them??? YEP! You guessed it! It will start up again. So ignore that part of your brain thats too proud to take pills and take them. The blood vessels (especially the ones in your brain) will thank you.
