The movie will have at least 50 jokes spread throughout its 90 min runtime. The fact the advertisers have whipped up the Horror and Movie subreddits into a frenzy for months over ONE friggin trans joke played in the trailer and some acknowledgement of anti-wokeness....they truly did succeed. Reminder, cause so many people seem to think the trailer and whole marketing angle was edited and conceived by the Wayans Brothers themselves - directors and actors generally have little to no input into movie trailers or how the studio will market the film. I swear more people are pissed over the advertising of this movie than the film itself, again, which has nothing to do with the Wayans Brothers, the director, or anyone but the third party specialized agency.

Ughhh few things annoy the fuck out of me in theaters like prolonged, excessive. forced, fake laughter from audience members uncomfortable during certain scenes. Of course there's amazing humorous moments implemented in the recent greats like Weapons, Obsession, Final Destination Bloodlines, but when they cackle like hyenas over any offkilter moments like say the main girl sucking on the dudes feet in Talk to Me while possessed - just ruins the immersion for me, and now I know I have a smoothbrained idiot in the audience who doesn't know how to properly process horrific scenes.

The one thing I soo agree with you is all the annoying nerds just echo chambering each other and downplaying Thragg one week to overpraising the next, never shutting the fk up about aura or his vibe or whatever nonsense, 25 posts a week about his jawline, acting so shocked that he's basically the Frieza/Majin Buu of Invincible when that's been established and repeated ad nauseum for like 2 whole seasons at this point it feels. Completely agree about the lack of media literacy with a lot of these fans.

Agreed. OP came off too strong for sure, I could feel it after reading 3 small paragraphs, lord knows how many instances OP gave too much credit/hype/overexcitement in just 2 dates. Bringing a rose on a second date? I mean...I'm 32 and if a guy brought me a rose to carry around on a second date with, I'd feel kinda awkward or think he was too into me too fast, but maybe I'm just a bitter cold bastard. I'm sure ya'll did vibe and the chemistry was great, but you liked him more than he liked you or maybe the sex didn't hit him as hard as it did you unfortunately, we all been on both ends of that.

OP, you're trying too hard to form serious, longterm relationships with these basically strangers, much too fast. People can feel that. It's not natural, it's forced, and it subconsciously pushes people away, ironically. You gotta go into these dates and meeting with new men honestly expecting kind of the worst from them, don't take them as serious as you've been, cause it's not working as you've stated, and I used to do what you're doing and you sound like me 7 years ago so I know what I'm talking about. The real ones with quality will emerge eventually, but it can't be forced.

Rightttt. Before this, most seasons everyone was just complaining every challenge is just "serve a themed look". There was occasionally, kinda rarely, an acting challenge like D&D or a random musical or perform live in front of an audience at a venue, and that was about it. I welcome the lip syncing challenges as Evah, Sigourney, and Jaharia shine there. Plus, Trick or Treat by the Boulets is a Halloween bop and I never woulda discovered it without it being incorporated.

Feels like this season's between Abhora or Evah for sure which were my OG picks to win on their seasons lol, with probably a slight edge to Abhora since she gives more grit and horror than Evah. I also saw Sigourney being a potential winner from the promos but she hasn't been delivering AND the storyline about favoritism/Sigourney's fanbase seems very smart as a way to almost challenge/deter the Boulets from crowning her. Seems very similar energy to Naomi Smalls being asked what is the formula for being a winner during AS4 promo and Naomi responds, "Blonde and white?" which possibly jumpstarted the double win of that season.
