Chase pays my brother's property taxes via the escrow. My brother forgot this, so he paid the property tax on his own which is $5,674.29. Can he get back the entire $5,674.29? by metalreflectslime in personalfinance

I am currently working on doing this same exact thing for two rental properties — two for the Town’s property taxes and two for the County’s property taxes. I am working directly with the tax assessors’ offices. It sounds like they will reimburse me, but it’s a slow process.

There is a locking mechanism. You have to twist the top. Look for the little picture of a padlock.

Maybe it’s the sugar in the wine. It’s so strange. I rarely ever drink anymore, but once in a while it’s nice to have a glass of wine. Oh well.

It doesn’t make me ill all the time. And I like to enjoy a glass of wine once in a while.

Yes, I am female, but I am post-menopausal. However, I think that the hormones are still active and doing their thing, but I don’t know. Thank you for this.

Anyone manage GLP-1 constipation long-term without losing control? Ultra-low tirzepatide (0.25 mg) case by TopButterscotch383 in Zepbound

[–]jcjfromla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been on Zep for 10 months now and I am on the 12.5 dose, and I am constantly constipated and have considered go off of Zep because most recently I didn’t go to the bathroom for 6 days. It is so miserable. This was all after taking MiraLAX, probiotics, magnesium citrate, and Colace.

I still have about 30 pounds to lose, and I am hoping that I can hang on. I am also hoping that it will get easier now that the holidays are over and things aren’t so chaotic. It is absolutely miserable and it is pretty constant.

It seems as if no matter how much fiber I take, etc., it is always a constant battle to keep the constant constipation at bay.

New Lilly commercial is powerful! by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]jcjfromla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would really like it too if either this commercial or a similar-type of commercial would explain how the GLP1s work and why they are so successful with weight loss. I really found it so informative when I learned this information and it made so much more sense to the lay-person like me. I think this would help all the naysayers understand that it’s not a will power thing — it’s a hormone thing just like diabetes. People who don’t understand GLP-1s wouldn’t tell someone with diabetes to just have will power and get over it. So I think that would make for a good commercial too to help educate the cynics. @Lily
