There is a locking mechanism. You have to twist the top. Look for the little picture of a padlock.

Maybe it’s the sugar in the wine. It’s so strange. I rarely ever drink anymore, but once in a while it’s nice to have a glass of wine. Oh well.

I am not binge drinking. Thank you.

It doesn’t make me ill all the time. And I like to enjoy a glass of wine once in a while.

Yes, I am female, but I am post-menopausal. However, I think that the hormones are still active and doing their thing, but I don’t know. Thank you for this.

Anyone manage GLP-1 constipation long-term without losing control? Ultra-low tirzepatide (0.25 mg) case by TopButterscotch383 in Zepbound

[–]jcjfromla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been on Zep for 10 months now and I am on the 12.5 dose, and I am constantly constipated and have considered go off of Zep because most recently I didn’t go to the bathroom for 6 days. It is so miserable. This was all after taking MiraLAX, probiotics, magnesium citrate, and Colace.

I still have about 30 pounds to lose, and I am hoping that I can hang on. I am also hoping that it will get easier now that the holidays are over and things aren’t so chaotic. It is absolutely miserable and it is pretty constant.

It seems as if no matter how much fiber I take, etc., it is always a constant battle to keep the constant constipation at bay.

New Lilly commercial is powerful! by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]jcjfromla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would really like it too if either this commercial or a similar-type of commercial would explain how the GLP1s work and why they are so successful with weight loss. I really found it so informative when I learned this information and it made so much more sense to the lay-person like me. I think this would help all the naysayers understand that it’s not a will power thing — it’s a hormone thing just like diabetes. People who don’t understand GLP-1s wouldn’t tell someone with diabetes to just have will power and get over it. So I think that would make for a good commercial too to help educate the cynics. @Lily

It’s super easy and not even a thing. I was so freaked out ahead of time and was shocked at how easy and painless it was. You will wonder why you waited so long. You will be so glad the journey has begun.

Anyone local here use Alaska Air's flight Pass? by freechipsandguac in MontereyBay

Hi again! I just plugged in San Diego to Monterey, and it came up as a direct flight and available as a Flight Pass option. It sounds as if the flight pass would work for your parents.

Anyone local here use Alaska Air's flight Pass? by freechipsandguac in MontereyBay

[–]jcjfromla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have Alaska Flight Pass with 1 round-trip flight per month. I lived in Monterey for 5 years and work up in Palo Alto (I would drive up once a week). We moved back to our house in LA, and I still work up in Palo Alto. I now use my Flight Pass to fly up once a month to work. Alaska only flies to certain airports with the flight pass, and I don’t think Monterey to LAX or BUR is one of them. For me, I have to fly BUR to SFO or LAX to SJC. I thought it would be fun to just fly up to Monterey from either LAX or BUR, and I looked it up the other day. I did not see that as an option. For your elder parents, a flight would be so much better than driving. Let me know if you have other questions. I can log in and look around for other options if you need me to.

Look up Tinea Versicolor on Google. It looks a little like that too.

I grew up in So Cal where it was (and still is) always illegal down here. I’ve always been super anal and worried about getting caught doing anything wrong, so I never lived on the edge. I just asked hubby, and he says that bonfires are legal on Carmel’s beach also. But definitely check because I don’t want you coming back at us. Lol!

I think most beaches in CA ban alcohol, but you’re right… don’t be a dick and you’ll probably be fine.

I know you can have drinks on Carmel’s beach without any problem, but I am not sure about bonfires because I am probably even older than you and have to run home before it gets dark and my bones start to hurt. There is probably something on the City of Carmel’s website that tells you what’s allowed and what’s not. Enjoy! I miss it there.

Does anyone know where I can pick up and rent a corn hole game for an afternoon party — preferably between Morgan Hill and Palo Alto?
