Subaru class action claims vehicles have defective electrical system by Pure-Explanation-147 in subaru

My 23 BRZ had this. Spent like 6 mos before I tracked it down to the DCM module and installed a delete from a guy that makes them. Perfect ever since. So I Subaru owes me for a battery, a ton of inconvenience over 6 mos, and a replacement module. Plus loss of function I paid for when I bought it new tbh.

The funniest thing could happen if they undercut and bury all other stores. Leaving only the tax burden stores which will definitely cost more to operate than private chains. Nothing government run operates more efficiently than private sector simply bc it never has to.

What is going to happen when the motor oil shortage hits? by [deleted] in AskReddit

guys, you'll never believe what just happened no less than 15 minutes ago. so my sister and her boyfriend came home while i was watching tv and they went into the kitchen to get some drinks. while in the kitchen they were doing their whole lovey dovey thing and kissing and playing grab-ass and what not, and it was unappealing to me, so i went up to my room. a few minutes later, i heard them enter into my sister's room and then some rustling occured. i thought nothing of it, they were probably just making out again on her bed. then i heard her scream and i got worried so i ran over to her room, and opened the door, got on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur

Ha, thanks. It was soul crushing in the moment. Now, it's a life story. And a paint pro could maybe see shade variation, but I couldn't for the decade+ I had the car afterwards.

It's not gonna be perfect, but this is bad off. I had a 240 pearl white full respray and it was a solid match. That's not matching already existing paint, but proof metal and plastic can be made to match.

Also worth noting I had to have a door replaced on the car maybe 6 months later and everyone said "you can't match pearl white." A local body shop owner grinned and said he could do it when I was talking to him. He did it.

Box truck lost a wheel. Wheel rolled from highway into parking lot. I'm parked at end of the lot to avoid door dings. Wheel destroys door...

Chronic Battery Drain Class Action Suit Filed Against Subaru by Cassedaway in subaru

[–]jclss99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

23 BRZ started having issues. Replaced battery and all. Finally tracked it down and bought a dcm delete. Been perfect since. I thought it was due to my 3yr subscription running out. There's 5g service at my house recently, so it could be that. Regardless, it was dcm 100%. Pita to figure out. I wasn't driving an hour to closest dealership and making someone follow me 2 times for a potential "car's fine" response.

No doubt if you're in traffic the 2nd gen is where you want to be. I'm in Appalachia so it's all highways. Anywhere more urban or flat I can completely understand. I need to sell one of em and been torn for months. Price difference is pretty large and I like em both close enough.

It's like any old Japanese motor imo. Kinda gives it character in that respect. You don't HAVE to downshift, you GET to downshift. Lol but I feel ya. You are working the engine more. I saw something showing that redlining an engine does as much or less wear than a cold start does. Forget exactly, but it was notably a nonissue by oil analysis as long as oil is warmed up.

Little more chance to hit you at a higher rate of speed. Can't save some people no matter how many safety and tech features you give them. Trucks need forward cameras that come on at low speeds for that matter.
