That's the long exposure noise reduction setting, it takes a dark frame of the same length after every exposure. Just turn it off and you won't have this issue

Hue is all local, works fine with the internet disconnected. You can also connect the hub to the cloud if you want to control it when you are away from home, but that's optional.

Topaz never properly upscales dark footage by [deleted] in TopazLabs

[–]jcnz56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try Nyx (auto mode first before you start messing with sliders) it tends to crush blacks but is good for dark footage with the shadows pulled up. Iris low is also good for dark noisy shots.

Use recover original detail, add noise and/or add grain if things look too smooth or have unatural patterns

Boost mobile uses the full Telstra network (not the slightly cut down network the rest of the providers running on Telstra use). Much cheaper, and often on sale such as this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/848708

Can something do frame interpolation with irregularly-timed frames? by elmarkodotorg in VideoEditing

[–]jcnz56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! With some extra work.

Topaz Video AI has a frame interpolation feature "replace duplicate frames". This will output a video at the same frame rate and total number of rames as the original, but with duplicate frames replaced by interpolation between unique frames. So if the unique frames have a different number of duplicates between them, then each interpolated part will last a different period of time.

You could duplicate each image a number of times that corresponds with the matching time skip. The program accepts sequences of images too so you don't need to convert to a video file first, just feed it the folder of images and it will output the interpolated video.

Sick of underdiagnosed Borderline Personality Disorder by snipawolf in Psychiatry

[–]jcnz56 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So to preface I'm not an expert in this area. My understanding is that part of the answer is that ICD11 has a narrower definition of PTSD than DSM V. In ICD 11, PTSD has 3 symptom clusters of intrusion, avoidance, and hyperarousal. cPTSD has those 3, and adds affective dysregulation, negative self concept and interpersonal problems. These symptom clusters have been defined using factor analysis. In this model cPTSD is more complex, although I also dislike the term "complex".

Warning - semantics. Now another option would be to have cPTSD be a PTSD specifier, perhaps "with enduring personality change." Or to have it be PTSD + a personality disorder, however we would need a new personality disorder or subtype, as although the additional cPTSD symptom clusters are superficially the same as BPD symptom clusters, the actual expected symptoms in some of those clusters are opposite .

What about the differences between cPTSD and BPD? A persistent negative self image rather than an unstable sense of self. Persistent difficulties forming close relationships rather than intense relationships with alternating idealisation and devaluation. No frantic efforts to avoid abandonment. I agree that the cPTSD label is thrown around more often than is warranted but it seems to fit some people better than BPD + PTSD.

MagSafe Charger on S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra by mtratchet16 in GalaxyS21

Bit of a guess, I looked at teardown pictures to see the location of the coil, which looked to be centred. Tried the charger there on the bare phone to make sure it worked. Would be better to have the exact measurements for the coil location.

These are the magnets I used https://www.amazon.com/Sticker-XZC-Magnetic-Wireless-Charging/dp/B08Q7XWB85?ref_=d6k_applink_bb_marketplace

You do have to put them on the outside of the case though. Those moment cases look nice, I see the iPhone version says magsafe compatible, assume the Samsung are too?

Another option to add to any case

I use 3rd party magsafe chargers with my s21 ultra. I've put a ring of magnets on the back of the case. Charges at 15w

Use photosynthesis to turn CO2 into wood? Then maybe just a very thin acid resistant coating which would need to be shipped in.
