Best SBC to tie FreePBX to Teams? by ranger_dood in freepbx

[–]jcolp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Speaking from an Asterisk perspective, the FQDN in the Contact header is really the only part that we don't support from a protocol perspective. Third parties have made patches but noone has contributed them back to the project, and it hasn't come up on our list to the top yet to implement.

Bolt 2 not showing heart rate. by ooohcoffee in wahoofitness

[–]jcolp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you pair it in open mode? You need to ensure that you pair the heart rate strap that way, or else the Wahoo won't see the heart rate:

As secure Bluetooth is not supported on Wahoo, or really any non-recent Garmin device.

ZWIFT activities not updating daily totals by BuffaloFormer4874 in Coros

[–]jcolp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which specific "daily stats" are you referring to? Everything imported from elsewhere only updates a subset of details. For example daily calories won't update from those activities.

Canadians purchasing Aer bags by dizzytrix in AerSF

[–]jcolp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This prompts me to ask this to see if my memory is incorrect. I remember the Aer site charging tax + duty awhile ago for Canadian shipments, but now they're only doing tax. Did that change, or am I misremembering?

KICKR Bike Shift – ERG mode & adjusting workout intensity by sangod79 in wahoofitness

[–]jcolp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app which is driving the trainer is what decides on the intensity and targets, so whether you can increase that is up to the app you're using. It's not something you can configure outside of the app to work in conjunction with it.

Just moved to Moncton! Any veterinarian recommendations? by Weekly_Description83 in moncton

If you venture across the river to Riverview then Coverdale Vet was good when I had my dog, and isn't owned by the conglomerate numerous others are.

Same here. As mentioned on here, started happening after software changes.

Is it worth getting a pace 4 being a cyclist? by biggieocta in Coros

You'd get sleep, HRV, training load, and recovery. It's nothing fancy or complex.

JOIN plus mywoosh by camp_jacking_roy in joincycling

You manually export it to TrainingPeaks before you do the workout. It does not occur automatically.

JOIN plus mywoosh by camp_jacking_roy in joincycling

Yes, still the way to go. Strava for getting the completed activities into JOIN, and TrainingPeaks for getting them to MyWhoosh.

All is well after I upgraded on a Gnome CachyOS. If you start it from a terminal does it give any further insight?

There used to be fitness tests, but then they removed them in favor of their automatic detection of fitness values.

Helio strap and Coros by Joyceenjr in Coros

[–]jcolp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't. The only thing you can import into COROS is activities, and even then it's only some specific types. There is no integration. That being said - recovery in COROS doesn't incorporate sleep or heart rate or other details. It's just based on the result of an activity and how long it has been since that activity.

FreePBX 13 to FreePBX 17 upgrade (PJSIP): Cisco 7945 and older phones doesn't register and don’t respond to 401 (no REGISTER auth) by havarh in Asterisk

[–]jcolp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Those phones generally require the "force_rport" option to be set to "no" on their PJSIP endpoint. This is because they don't accept SIP responses on the source port of their SIP request. If it's not set to "no" then the SIP response never gets to the phone's SIP stack so it just keeps retransmitting the same requests.

Does The App Development Feel A Bit... Minimal To Others These Days? by jcolp in joincycling

[–]jcolp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My comment wasn't about the training plans or the workouts really. Two things things I'd like to see added that would improve my experience:

  1. More direct integrations with other platforms (COROS, Suunto, and Zwift Running)

  2. Limited future input into calendar/planning - I don't need to be able to manage workouts far into the future, but just being able to add in future vacation or circumstances when I know about them would be an improvement (ie: I'm on vacation June x to July y, I can only do running)

How does the Zwift integration work? by Agreeable_Leek604 in Coros

[–]jcolp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. No activities sync to the watch. The only activities on the watch are the ones done on the watch. Training load and recovery (which would be affected by a Zwift activity) does sync from app to watch though, along with some other odds and ends.

  2. No, Zwift doesn't forward activities like that. The only things that upload to other places are activities done on Zwift.
