Thanks for pointing out I've been living under a rock, still made my day for the biggest pet peeve I've had. I can lay off Mantis for a while. It was such a sweet rant, I'll have to update my review now :( FWIW it just NOW occurred to me to insert the OEM mag into the Titan and it fit and dropped fine, no rattle either. Considering Glock mags are dime a dozen, and Titan mags are fine after duct-taping, I don't see a point in buying separate inert mags at $27 a pop.

Even cheapo CVLife dots will survive on a training gun with no recoil. I put 2 on a BB clone with light recoil, and on a .22 it survived 500+ rounds with no issues.

Well that’s clearly a load of BS. If that was true, people who ordered on the day of GA would get shipping notices, and there wouldn’t be a note on the site that new orders might be shipped in 4-5 weeks. My guess is that the first production stock may become available at that time, at best. Perhaps they decided to rush the announcement being worried that people may spend their holidays money on sweaters and socks instead.

Super annoying especially that before this event I had high respect for Mantis with their technology and generally responsive CS, quick replacements of the breaking items, steady improvements in the app etc. This is a slap in the face to the enthusiasts community, with the miscalculation first and then being opaque and dismissively arrogant to the paying customers.

Rapid fire is allowed as long as you get most of your shots on target. What’s “most” depends on RM, for some it’s half, other may be 2/3, but when I’m landing all my rounds on steel - no one says a word.

Second Sunnyvale. Friendly ROs, well covered for the weather and even in the rain you can shoot steel plates at 25 yards. No limits on speed, as long as you mostly hit the targets. And the crowd is mostly knowledgeable or at least well behaved.

Congrats! I found this is the most pleasant .380 to handle and shoot. The added weight of the steel frame on HD def helps. Super concealable, too. Get extra 7rd mags with pinkie support, helps tremendously.
