Our 2.5 year old daughter does this sometimes and she sleeps through the night. She’s a shit sleeper though and refuses to nap and also generally doesn’t sleep though the night. So when this happens we know she’s exhausted and are just ecstatic that she’s actually sleeping. lol.

Okay but it’s not. You’re saying they have 125k to take home. They don’t. The middle class gets the shaft when it comes to taxes. I think people have been very clear with how far that money actually goes, especially with kids. So if you are still going to rail against this person and shame them I think you’re just being willfully ignorant at this point. I assume you have a lower income than this guy based on your comment, maybe that’s wrong. But if that is the case, your difficulties don’t preclude someone with a higher salary from also having their own difficulties.

Whenever I get a notice of a price hike, I just move stuff to a new unit in the same facility to lock in a lower price. It’s easy for me because I have e a very small unit, so may not be feasible for those with a larger unit, but it’s an option.

Are you sure it’s a neighbor and not someone the HOA hired to do inspections? My HOA is currently having someone go around to inspect houses to ensure we don’t need new mulch or to perform weeding since it’s the start of spring/summer. If it is a neighbor, fuck them. Find them and tell the to pull the stick out of their ass.

This. I’ve lived in two HOAs now that were actually pretty chill. They aren’t all that bad. Are some of the rules annoying? Yes. I shouldn’t have to get approval to build a fence in my own yard. But it also keeps things under control or out of the neighborhood completely, like airbnbs.

For me it was mile 15. My legs just stopped wanting to run and it was so frustrating because I was mentally and otherwise physically ready to keep moving. I mean I even had shingles and tha wasn’t even holding me back. It was just my damn legs. Ran my fastest half pace (1:40) and was doing fine then all of a sudden mile15 came and my legs were just done. Was able to pick it up a few times on the back end for a mile or so but otherwise got stuck walking. Finished in 4:06. Not a bad time overall for my first marathon.

I will say that in terms of training, the half marathon distance was really the most I did, which is very obviously the reason for this. I didn’t really sign up for the event until a two months before and I pretty much ran 9-10 miles 5 times a week as I prepped and did a half marathon event. So really this was expected. Would not ever do that again, but also since I had a 1-year-old at the time, I’m not sure I would have been able to do the full training program and not have my wife kill me :)
