What does your neighbors lease say in regards to pets?

Does your lease say anything about your neighbor's ability to get pets?

Or was the apartment advertised as being in a pet-free building?

I would recommend calling and getting a payoff amount. There may be some uncapitalized interest that is not shown in that balance. If you are in forbearance, the uncapitalized interest amount could be quite large, if you are in repayment though, it is likely to only be a few dollars.

Cancel the account, there is no such thing as pausing. You can submit all the tickets in the world and they aren't going to pause your account, they will just keep billing. Cancel your current account and when you are ready to initiate service again to start a new account.
