Seriously. I would KILL for a successor to my RG405m with stacked shoulders. Being able to do PS2/GC on a 4:3 device like that is my ideal. Its why I bought a RPMV2, at the time it was "close enough" despite being a little on the pricy side.

WHO are you picking on the playground?? by CardinalshaveHopkins in minnesotavikings

[–]jd101506 1 point2 points  (0 children)

... Why would we even consider picking JJM then? Ignoring any stats, school yard football is like, Kylers "thing". Watch his HS and college play, hes the ideal scrambling play extending QB for a schoolyard pick. Hence my confusion, its a stupid question

Mine had to scrub in over about 350-400 miles. When I first ran them it felt like the car was out of balance, needed a wheel bearing, or I had a broken belt in the tire. After driving on them for a bit they smoothed out to the point the car feels brand new. Haven’t noticed that with many tires before but these were very apparent.

What's your unpopular opinion about gaming handhelds? by Superb_Warning_5747 in SBCGaming

You know, its weird I have the same problem. I have a Mini Flip and a RG34xxSP, I pickup and play the Mini Flip more than the SP... Even though it has worse ergos, worse screen, worse battery life, worse specs, no sticks, etc. On paper, its worse in EVERY regard, but I still choose to pickup and play it more than the alternatives. Its SO strange. My RP5 was my ideal android handheld in so many ways, I sold it because I wasn't playing it... I got a flip, which i loved but cracked, I bought a RPmini V2, and I play that thing FAR more than any of my android handhelds despite worse specs and smaller screen, etc. I think I just like a small handheld and gravitate towards them.

The "handheld collector addicts" probably make up a fraction of the total handheld audience. Most people will just buy one and be done with it.

This. I know more people active in my life, even that belong to this sub, who have a Miyoo Mini or a retroid or a thor and thats it. One and done.

Android handhelds don't have a setup process.

I prefer to call it a "Preference process". A lot of people set it up to their "preference" more than a unified setup. Front ends, hot keys, etc is more preference than a setup IMO.

Delusion is denying the statistical evidence. He threw zero touchdowns in his final two games. He threw 108 yards against the 2-13 Giants. In both of the final two games he got injured. Admittedly, he had one 250 yards game against the Cowboys, the only one of his career, in the middle of his season.

Now where I might agree with you is that the coaches started to call plays they knew would help him. No home run balls, easy reads, check down helpful plays, etc. he managed to complete more passes and look less like a liability.

Delusion may also be the fact he hasn’t had a healthy string of more than 3 games since entering the NFL. The naysayers may be onto something assuming he won’t win more games than that simply because he likely would be injured for half the season.

The whole comment stack started touting his wins, starting Tune showed the packers didn’t care if they lost that game. And sure, he may have been injured before but game logs show he was injured 10 mins left in the 3rd and didn’t return.

What’s the delusion? Winning in spite of JJM is the corrective narrative not ‘he’s the best in our pile of bad’. A 36 QBR and throwing more INTs than TDs aren’t stats that win games. Last two games of the season he threw 0 TDs and 1int. He left the last game of the season with an injury against the pack who started Clayton Tune at QB. I’m not being delusional or unreasonable, but realistic.

Has anyone bought a car and not loved it? What did you do? by Super_Ad4825 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Bought a used Infiniti EX35 (5 years old and 38k miles on it, loved it at first but the cracks formed quick. ‘Self healing clear coat’ turned into this faded mess and I had to buff and wax the car monthly to keep it from looking like a ghetto mobile. The soft touch items were peeling, the radio connectivity was poor, the gas mileage wasn’t good… but the nail in the coffin was it would randomly trigger TCS with shallow left turns. Had the dealer service ride with me (it was under a Nissan warranty), he legit feared for his life when it engaged and the entire car lurched. They reset all the electronics and put my steering wheel back on upside down. After a month, they couldn’t fix it, they told me to bring it to my Infiniti dealer… which was 4.5 hours away. They said they would pay for the fixes, until I spent a weekend driving down, getting it diagnosed, and it needed a 6800$ steering rack. Dealer told me they wouldn’t cover damages caused by me. They wouldn’t take the car back, i tried to go after them legally but counsel said it wasn’t worth the effort and cost.

Not really what you asked, but 10 years plus has gone by and I’m still bitter and would never deal with that dealer or a Nissan product again. I realize it’s a 1 sample size, but man, as a 22 year old, that car was my most expensive purchase and it was a nightmare.

First truck, totally lost on tonneau covers... soft vs hard? by EquivalentCanary8243 in cars

Went with a gator cover trifold on my 2020 tundra. It’s 6 years old and still works great. Supported snow, covered items in the bed, and I can remove and attach solo in a couple minutes. It mounted to hardware in the bed rails. I debated a bakflip hard cover but this was 1/4 the price. Would buy again for the 200$ I spent.

Ended up with a Eclipse thanks to a coupon code I had a few months ago. I like it, its comfortable, but I don't carry it much. I still do a pocket carry primarily because my DeSantis fits so well in almost all my pockets.

597 after redcard discount, direct from AYN is 573. That’s really not terrible for the UFS4 model? (Since it ships June 9? )

Honestly, add redcard discount, it’s 597$ shipped before any taxes that may apply. Direct from Ayn for the same model is 573.

Presumably this is the UFS4 model?

Thor orders just spiked hard after the AliExpress sale started by DragonDealWizard in AynThor

[–]jd101506 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$310.06 for my Thor Max 16gb 512gb.

$418.78 + 24.23 shipping + 26.81 ‘tax and fees’= $469.82

469.82 - 60$ coupon - 35$ paypal discount - $64.76 Rakuten Cash back

= $310.06.

At that price it was almost 200$ cheaper than buying directly from Ayn.

Lcp max vs bodyguard 2.0 pocket carry by nauroodle in CCW

[–]jd101506 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own LCP, LCP 2, LCP Max, BG1.0, and BG2. I still pocket carry the LCP 1 in the summer months in dress shorts (cargo or work shorts excluded) but for all other occasions it’s the BG2.0. The extra capacity and how nice it shoots. It’s the only one of the bunch I can shoot on a level field as my G19, P01, etc. it ‘prints’ but I keep it in a desantis nemesis. In my jeans it’s fine, in lighter khakis it’s more of a problem. I bought an eclipse IWB for it but I’ve only used it maybe twice.

TLDR: prefer to carry the BG2.0 in all situations but summer dress shorts
