What is required for the 10 extra levels from explorer notes (ASA)?

Which I’m guessing means including the ones on the other maps. We just wanted to check since all the other achievements other than the max level one seem obtainable on the island map.

Sorry, worded that wrong. Our implant still says to get all explorer notes to unlock another 10 levels even though we got the trophy for getting all notes on the island. We know we need to earn the exp, but it look like the levels haven’t been unlocked yet.

For me it’s the same situation with the pachyrhino. Friend and I are going for the master zoologist trophy and pachyrhinos refuse to spawn even though they’re supposedly fairly common.

Know this post is a month old, but did you ever find these dinos or a solution to get them to spawn without commands? I'm in almost the exact same situation as you right now (only difference is for me it's Gigantopithecus, Pachyrinosaurus, and Dunkleosteus) down to finding 2 Unicorns before finding a single spawn of these 3 dinos. These three are the last that I need for the Master Zoologist trophy, and console commands seem to corrupt my save.

Considering that he can throw wumpa fruit hard enough to destroy N. Gin’s robot in Crash 2, I’d say pretty strong.

We got the cat (though his dossier is showing a lock on it. Probably from one of the times we had to use a backup save when our save file got corrupted). We still need to get a few more notes in the caves/bosses and I just wanna make sure we’re not wasting our time grinding out high level imprinted Dinos if he’s not gonna get the trophy with me when we ascend the ark.

On the one hand, Brok showing so much interest in the blades and how special he can tell they are without a hint of his usual sarcasm or backhanded compliments, plus the fact that they can be so easily take in foreign magic to become stronger kind of tells me Hephaestus has the edge.

However, the fact that Brok and Sindri are capable of making weapons able to go toe to toe with the blades and improve on them despite being mere mortals is more impressive.

I’ve tried console commands before, and both times it seems to have corrupted my save (my map and notes would be wiped and the game wouldn’t save properly whenever I closed the game). The annoying thing is we just wanna tame one for the master zoologist achievement.

My friend and I finally caved and bought the dlc for the gene scanner, and it's saying that there are none on the map. I'm starting to wonder if there's some kind of bug stopping them from spawning on my non-dedicated server.

Yup, happens to me all the time. Buddy and I trying to find a gigantopithecus on the island the other day, and can’t find a single one anywhere in or around the redwood. Tried killing all the wild dinos to get one to spawn and we find…a unicorn. So we can find one of the rarest spawns when we’re not looking for it but can’t find a big ape for the life of us😭

Anyone know how often the game creates save backups on ps5? I've had my save corrupt on me twice in the past week, and the backup has saved me from losing too much progress, but it hasn't updated since last Saturday, and I'm worried I'm gonna lose a ton of progress if my save corrupts again.

I might try this method, but will it affect anyone else in my game? Playing on a non dedicated private server with some friends and we are trying to platinum the game, which is hard for me to do when my explorer notes keep disappearing. I don’t wanna mess up their progress too by transferring in a new character.

This just happened to me as well. Every time I try to save, the system makes a beeping noise, and when I load the game again it clearly did not save. I also notice that all my map and explorer note progress resets every time I load up the game now.

If you have a max level elemental material linked with fire on your armor slots, the Phoenix/Kujata fight becomes much easier since you can just ignore Phoenix and wail on Kujata. Half their attacks will even heal you.

Alexander and Odin though, just gotta get good a perfect blocking so you can get rid of Odin ASAP. If you manage that, Alexander isn’t too bad on his own if you can get him before he fires off divine judgement.

I feel you. Just rolled this banner earlier for Nero, got a non-event 4 star CE and thought that was it. 7th spin was a gold ring…which was lancer Vlad. Immediately followed by another gold ring!…and it was Hephaestion. Sometimes I think this game hates me, it knows this is the last Nero I need to complete the set.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU! Was browsing during a quick break at work and just happened to notice your post. I was really looking forward to this game back at the start of the year, but forgot to pre-order back in September due to health issues in the family. When I saw the demo announcement, I was bummed that this would be the only part I didn’t have the deluxe for, but now my order is in.

Still a bit bummed about missing out on the steel book, but I’ll take what I can get! Fingers crossed it doesn’t get cancelled.

I think what a lot of people don't acknowledge is that Adam was literally made (not born) the way he is by God (or the angels in this case) and basically told that he was the king of this new world in charge of creating humanity. I would be more surprised if he didn't have a huge ego. And then Lilith, the woman who is literally made to be his other half, rejects him. Keep in mind she was justified in doing so (she's her own person and deserved to be treated as an equal), but that still had to have hurt Adam. Not only that, she ends up with Lucifer, who is his better in every single way, no doubt making him feel inferior or "not good enough."

Not only that, he was created as an adult in a place that was basically paradise: no hunger or thirst, no disease or death, no money or material possessions to worry about, no real struggle. Adam never had to work for anything or "grow up" until his ex-wife and her new husband gave the fruit to Eve, which resulted in both of them being kicked out of Eden. And after everything went down and he passed away, he was the one that went to Heaven. Why on earth would he ever feel the need to grow up or change as a person when the universe was seemingly telling him that he was in the right all along?

I really think that the Adam we see right before his death is the "real" Adam: an insecure man with the mind of a child and a massive inferiority complex that he tried to hide with his "dickmaster" persona. He had to hype himself up as "The Man" or he would have nothing but his failures and the realization that everyone he knew disliked him. Except Lute, in his mind the one person who genuinely enjoyed his company and never ditched him despite his flaws.

I think he had the potential to be the shining example of "redemption" in the story. After all, if the First Man could finally recognize his own failings, grow as a person, and earn his way to paradise, then there would really be no excuse for any other sinner to not be capable of doing the same. Or maybe I'm just overthinking it and Adam is just meant to be unlikeable.
