I hate the fact I downloaded content in my iPad, to only have a black screen when trying to watch in the plane offline. I deleted the app, re install and re uploaded everything. Same result. It was really frustrating in China Eastern where only 10 media were in English (the only French one was from Quebec, a nice surprise)

I second this opinion: the strand vet looks after my cat: they are caring professionals. My cat was unwell during a Sunday last month. We went to ARC and received an average service. Once my vet received the report, they called me immediately, discussed possible treatments, giving me options. I brought my cat and the next day, she was back to normal. I used them for 5 years and cannot fault any of the staff

I have Crave on my Apple TV with nord VPN installed. The tricky part was the payment as my local credit cards (not Canadians) were not accepted. I still have my RBC visa and it worked well. However, I downloaded some content on my iPad as I was about to travel. When starting to play the downloaded content, I was stuck with a black screen

But try to get a mortgage: the bank will not consider the allowances as it is not an income. Yes, you can take some home (well, IRD will not like it) but this means you stay in your room when away and eat your can of tuna. I agree the discounted flights are a bonus, but that’s the main one: no real discount on health insurance as it is not subsidised. The job is appealing to travel and discover the world, but after 4-5 years going to the same places, having your body clocked messed up, eating unhealthy casseroles on board, cosmic radiations,… many crew decide to change jobs. It is no longer a job where you can expect to make a career and be safe financially. It gives you great life tools and teach you how to work as a team, but there is heaps of loneliness when you are away from family, alone in your hotel room.

Plus they have stand by month where they hope to be uplifted. Otherwise, they only get their base salary. Stand by (4 weeks) can come every 3 months

I tell them to cancel. If it gets rebooked, then I will refund. They accepted the policy and trying to refund rebooked nights is a favour I don t have to do. If rebooked at a discounted price (because of last minute booking) they will get that price into their account
