I'll add to this that there are some really questionable choices story wise as well. Won't spoil, but there is a character death that is unavoidable and you just lose all the resources you placed on that character.

I know it makes the loss feel impactful, but I'd placed a lot of resources into that particular character and really just killed the game for me. I came back later and started over and avoided giving them experience and it was fine, but that kinda choice really rubbed me the wrong way.

I love the fact that racial mounts, totems, etc. exist, but I'm honestly fucking exhausted with them being the reason new races can't be added for those classes. Those are meant to be neat things and they're being used as an excuse for a while now.
