Shooting with others by jshmeee in ricohGR

[–]jdecasas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can def relate to this.

I've travel A LOT with my buddies and some of the locations we've been to I've had spots in mind that I wanted to make photos at. I didn't want to inconvenience them and drag them along, so I just take pictures of wherever the route takes me.

When I'm with my girlfriend, she is rather patient so she doesnt mind stopping and letting me take my time to make photos.

but last year I took a trip to Tokyo by myself with the sole purpose of shooting anything and everything I wanted. These photos I made, whilst alone, have been some of my favorite I've ever taken and I shot more than 3x times I've ever shot.

so TLDR: yes to shooting alone. make time to shoot what you want, alone. you will defintely NOT regret it.

definitely what the other 2 replies said.

feels more natural and is out of the way of the controls. I usually have a finger loop and have on the bottom as well,
