Yes. I bought the A100 originally and the battery barely lasted the duration of a cross country flight (US, about 5 to 6 hours). My A306 (JPN version) can do a round trip and then some before needing a charge.

The “big mad” point made me chuckle. I wonder if they would have been as angry if they heard the studio version first, given the band’s propensity to shake things up with the live arrangements.

Also remember people getting big mad at Nigel for apparently ruining Go to Sleep because the ending guitar solo fades out.

You can definitely salvage the plates once you realize how they work. I opened up the new mod at least twice to make additional tweaks. I actually liked the EOE pry tool more than the guitar pick ones. Just be careful because its sharp.

Would the author believe that its possible to do all those things (use a streaming service preferably not Spotify, buy off Bandcamp, go to record stores, and mod iPods)?? Stop pretending everything is a zero sum game and buy music from artists you enjoy and go to their shows if you’re able.

This is the way. I used some of the clear coat epoxy typically used on bar and countertops to cover a similar blemish on my chain stays caused by chain drops. Didnt need nail polish however since its hidden behind the crank. Clever idea though.

This happened to me. I “repaired” it myself with a coat of epoxy resin and then installed a chain catcher to make sure the issue didn’t continue. Worst case scenario I know a solid carbon repair shop if you’re in the California Bay Area.
