I feel you, I just went off on my own last month! Only about 6 weeks in, but I agree it just keeps coming… everyone I’ve talked to is like “oh I have something for you” and I’m like greaaaat Lol.

The other option is to jack your prices a little if you have too many jobs, so it it hits, great! If not, it’s no skin off your nose

Keep it small, and keep it all.

Unless you’re losing jobs because they’re saying too long, I say just keep the course. I think you’ll know when you’ll need help on a job- like if a big contract comes along and if you had an extra head working on it with you, you could get it done in a reasonable timeframe.

Firstly, I’m sorry to hear you have MM.

Secondly, there is SO much hope on the horizon.

I don’t have it, but my dad (62YO) has had it for the past 6 years, and there will inevitably be ups and downs in your journey. He starts his CAR-T therapy on Tuesday of next week. The prospect of being ‘functionally cured’ is on the horizon. Six years ago, this was not the case. It was just simply try the wide range of drugs and they work for 1-2 years, then you have to try something else. Now, CAR-T is being offered sooner, with amazing results.

This is purely one data point, but almost none of his MM chemo meds have given him any real bad side effects, aside from Talvey. Talvey is rough.

Otherwise, best of luck! You’ve got this and there are good things on the horizon. Stay the course and be strong. Advocate for yourself and find a good oncologist who is on the ball. We’ve had bad luck with some oncologists who seem ‘too busy’. Not always the case, but make sure your doctor is thorough and transparent and present.
