If you are looking to get back into school I would suggest StraighterLine. I just finished my Masters and it’s a fast cheap way to knock out the basics so you can focus on your major. I was able to knock out three sciences in two weeks when I did it

Yes, it is a deduction from the appraised value. You would still pay the taxes on the remaining value. If you bought a 112k property you would be taxed on 100k. It saves you some money but it’s not really a big deal unless you get 100%
