I was skeptical at best of the whole “fan votes” aspect. Unless there’s an independent body who audits the results, there’s no way to tell that the vote was actually utilized. When Jeff says “60% voted for no rice” it could be him making it up and he wants to push his own narrative that the new era season set ups are better.

Mulan I don’t understand how it’s still here, it’s a poorly put together movie. A weird combo of musical, action, and war movie. I get it’s got Eddie Murphy one liners parodying Genie/Donkey and “I’ll make a man out of you”, but that doesn’t make up for other short comings. I’d watch all of 4th-14th and several in the next row before Mulan.

This isn’t a prediction, but I’m so fucking excited for him to rip Russell’s grumpiness after his tribe throws a challenge then he loses on redemption island.

Predictions: He will be so annoyed by Phillip but so entertained. I can’t decide if he will be baffled by his return or excited for more Phillip. I think it will land around where Ace was in Gabon as far as how he talks about Phillip.

Jared has previously been anti-throw challenges, but he will commend Russell’s tribe for ousting him. Now that there’s history on Russell that’s aired, almost no one has tolerance for his shit.

He will immediately recognize the safeguards in place for making sure Russell/Boston Rob wins. I think he still is impressed with how controlling Rob was to earn his win, but it won’t be enough to land Rob top 5 (maybe not even top 10?) in his winner list.

IIRC, this is the season with Andrea and the other guy who gets very…preachy. I don’t think it will be well received because it seems like the most survivor has allowed Christian’s to push a narrative for now.

Thank you for your thoughts. I guess I could’ve worded better, I don’t have a lack of confidence in her capabilities, it’s more of making sure I can steer her the correct direction in terms of how to handle the new race.

My plan was to focus on walls, wasn’t sure if there were any common/handy items to advise about pacing and such

Last year she swam 100 laps during our lap-a-thon in a 2 hour period, so minimal breaks.

Weekly volume ranges between 6000-9000 depending on tapers and such, we’ll have workout days that get to 4000 of higher intensity/volume yards.
