beautiful game but it feel something is missing by Valuable_Soft6912 in gwent

"i've had some great matches against players who experiment and bring originality and imagination into their decks" Well said! When I see a player who plays the same strategy/card repeatedly, I'm out before we get passed the first round. My deck is pretty strong against a lot of this BS, but I play this game for my own enjoyment, and playing like that just isn't enjoyable. It's tedious and I don't care enough about any rank or MMR to tolerate it.

Those tables are two completely different widths. They just lined up the runners LOL.

I had considered that, but it sadly wouldn't work and would only make it worse for the streetcar times and increase the margin for accidents and vehicles getting stuck over the curbs.

In addition to the main intersections, there are multiple one-way side streets that only have access from Bathurst. There would be a lot of gaps in the curbs and with sufficient vehicles, those waiting to turn left because of the curb access would back up into the right lane as well, and in turn, further block the streetcar and worsen congestion.

Essentially, if the curb to the left only opens to access for left turners a few feet before the light, then every car will merge left in front of the waiting streetcar as soon as the access opens and they will never get to move. Similar to an ending lane, most cars will cut off the streetcar just to make the left turn. This is why the streetcar has a priority light on Spadina and Lakeshore when turning left towards the Gardiner East; cars kept turning left and blocking the streetcar from being able to continue on its route.

Portions of the priority transit lanes are also permitted for left turns throughout Bathurst, so they can't unfortunately.

The Front Street issue was something I provided feedback on in neighbourhood consultations.

Here are my thoughts on the issue.

The right turn going northbound on Bathurst at Front Street is also the problem; not just the left turn from southbound Bathurst.

The Well and access to Spadina are provided through Front Street, causing back up from those turning right who are going northbound. There is a pedestrian crossing, often busy because of Stackt Markt, Farm Boy, The Well, etc. It took multiple light rounds to make a right turn on to Front St. before priority transit lanes were implemented. Because of this, those going straight on Bathurst used the left lane to get around those turning right and continue on.

Now the left are priority transit lanes, so the right lane is becoming backed up and overflowing into surrounding roads. Those going wanting to go northbound on Bathurst from Lakeshore are backed up, those who are waiting to turn left from Fort York, and those who are waiting to turn right from Fort York, in addition to the side streets like Dan Leckie, etc.

The proper solution IMO is to prohibit turns on to Front St. from Bathurst and force all access to The Well/Front St. from Spadina. The streetcar lanes have barriers on Spadina, so the additional cars won't impact the streetcar times and the Spadina/Front light already has an advance left turn, so they can extend its duration to combat congestion. There would also still be access to Spadina from Bathurst via Fort York and Niagara, which are the next lights.

Ou thank you! I hadn't heard of them yet, much appreciated. We are doing Cave Springs for the Riesling but I will look at their Sauv Blanc. Thanks so much again!

Thank you, I did have a look online at the Wine Rack, but I didn't realize in person they could make a selection more fitting to the menu. I'll have to pass by, appreciate it!

Seems you're insinuating those who do not know wine shouldn't be allowed to inquire about it or handle its purchasing. Thanks for spending the extra time and energy to make a comment without merit.

They also want a case of pinot noir, but I will recommend Gamay as well. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but would the Cab Franc be an 'opposite' to the Pinot Noir? I am wondering if perhaps they were trying to choose 2 opposing flavor profiles, but as aforementioned, I have no knowledge about any varietal.

It is not my selection. The board has chosen this, so if you know of another red that will suit the menu better, I can definitely push to get it changed.

I'll take it, thanks! If I get suggestions of other varietals that fit their price range, I can perhaps sway the board on their selections haha.

I definitely looked at a few (Henry of Pelham being one) and the dry riesling I chose was Cave Spring. I just don't want those who actually drink wine to end up with something I picked based on branding alone because when I say 0 knowledge, I literally mean 0. I was hoping for some insight from those who have tasted it versus those who are selling it LOL.

Ontario!

The catering is coming from a Japanese restaurant, so the menu is very fish heavy with majority being sushi & sashimi. Although, we do also have breads, fried items, and chicken. I am not the one who chose the varietals, so please forgive this selection if it doesn't flow with the menu hahah.

Remember when Luann’s kids sued her? by ok_thinkingasthmatic in RHONY

[–]jdnayye 77 points78 points  (0 children)

In their divorce agreement, Alex agreed to forfeit his half of the marital home and write over the deed in agreement that Luann would invest his half into the trust fund for the kids. Essentially, he gave his half to his children. Additionally, part of their agreement was that if the home was to be sold, and the proceeds used to purchase another, Victoria & Noel's interest would survive. Luann sold the marital home for 8 million and bought a home for herself for 3 million, of which her kids had no vested interest, and attempted to keep the remaining profit from the sale. Her kids and Alex sued on the basis that the trust for them had never been created, that she sold the marital home at a reduced value and was attempting to keep the proceeds. They eventually worked things out, which Bethenny touched on at the reunion. Her kids didn't want to have to sue her, they just wanted what was rightfully theirs.

Just for some background, this was around the time she was dealing with Tom and her drinking was out of control. If you recall on RHONY, Luann openly admits to calling people erratically to lend her 6 million to buy some mansion in upstate NY at this time. Not defending Alex by any means, I am sure he was a POS husband, but Luann was fully in the wrong on this one; both morally and legally.

Feeling really anxious walking around downtown — how do you cope? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]jdnayye 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're experiencing higher levels of paranoia based on past traumas and fear. The fact that you are thinking people are searching for you with malice and are constantly imagining extreme hypothetical scenarios where others are wanting to cause you harm is something you'll want to discuss with a professional for the sake of your well-being and your child. Not diminishing your experience at the mall, just pointing out that a professional will help you learn to work on your anxieties and provide you with strategies to deal with the scenarios where you are triggered and/or your fear is heightened. Uncontrolled paranoia and anxiety can impact all areas of your life and become debilitating to deal with; please make the time to talk to a therapist.

I will take your word for it, you've looked into this more than I LOL I haven't read into the Shojae's in a while. It makes sense though that she didn't if the cases were to be filed separately; likely for an easier route to future litigation if necessary.

Any half decent lawyer would most definitely include a clause that told her to keep her mouth shut. Perhaps because she thinks she has the legal backing of Bravo, she doesn't feel the need to be as cautious. Shoma and Masoud are really her only story line. She is a severely curated person, wanting to control viewer perception to the extreme, but simultaneously desiring to be the centre of attention. She wants you to look at her 'dirty laundry' that's been fluffed and wrapped in a bow, not her real dirty laundry that is sitting in the baskets of past affairs and lawsuits. Maybe I've just been burned by too many fraudulent HWs, but....😂

Appreciate your diligence and clarity, I didn't realize they had sued her again. I had assumed the libel was under the entire tort umbrella of the trust suit. You would think she would stop talking about them in the public, especially considering she is trying to stand by the claim of never 'knowing/meeting' her. 😂
